Abstract: A vehicle control system capable of improving aerodynamic performance of a vehicle is provided. The vehicle control system includes: a diffuser device installed on a rear bumper of a vehicle and configured to be movable between a storing position stored in the rear bumper and an extending position protruding from the rear bumper toward the rear of the vehicle; a natural wind detecting device installed on the vehicle to detect a direction of the natural wind relative to the vehicle; and a control device arranged on the vehicle and controlling movement of the diffuser device in response to the direction of the natural wind.

Abstract: A clamp assembly is provided for securing a panel or fairing to an I-beam, and comprises a pair of side blocks and a clamping block, together with a single bolt to secure them in place. Each of the side blocks as an inclined wedge surface, and the T-shaped clamping block has similarly sloped wedge surfaces along the sides of the leg of the T. When a bolt this passed through side legs of the side blocks, and through or under the clamping block, a sliding and wedging action between the inclined and sloped wedge surfaces occurs. Moreover, a clamping action between the top surface of the clamping block and the lower surface of the lower flanges of the I-beam is also induced.

Abstract: Disclosed is a sealing assembly for forming an at least partial seal with a ground surface under a vehicle, the sealing assembly including: a frame; and a plurality of seal elements mounted adjacent to one another on the frame to form a sealing strip, wherein each of the seal elements is arranged to contact and slide along the ground surface; wherein the frame has a greater flexibility compared to each of the seal elements. By forming an at least partial seal with a ground surface under a vehicle, the sealing assembly may reduce air leakage into a low-pressure region formed by a downforce system, which may result in increased downforce produced by the downforce system. Such an increase in downforce may improve the vehicle's grip on the ground surface, which may improve its ability to travel around bends at high speed, as well as its ability to accelerate and decelerate.
