Abstract: A transportation vehicle provides a workspace in a passenger cabin to support a teleconference with a remote party. External sensors are configured to scan the exterior of the vehicle. A sound exciter is configured to generate a masking noise directed to the exterior. A control circuit which enhances privacy of the teleconference is configured to A) detect the audio content of the teleconference being present in the interior of the vehicle, B) quantify an interior sound level of the audio content, C) estimate a discernability of the audio content at an external location accessible to passersby where the audio content can be overheard, and D) activate the sound exciter such that the masking noise is adapted to mask the audio content at the external location.

Abstract: A fleet management system is disclosed. The system may include a transceiver configured to receive parking facility attributes associated with a parking facility and vehicle information associated with each vehicle in a vehicle fleet. The parking facility attributes may include parking resource locations in the parking facility and a parking resource availability information. The vehicle information may include a vehicle operational status and a future expected vehicle usage information. The system may further include a processor configured to determine a parking resource for each vehicle based on the parking facility attributes and the vehicle information. The transceiver may transmit a notification to each vehicle including a location of the determined parking resource and associated time period for parking resource usage.

Abstract: Systems and methods for fleet management for a fleet of vehicles include collecting data associated with the fleet of vehicles including data associated with a plurality of vehicle operations affecting degradation of each vehicle in the fleet of vehicles, determining a composite score associated with the fleet of vehicles based on the collected data, the composite score associated with both an average score for the fleet and a standard deviation score associated with each vehicle in the fleet of vehicles, wherein a higher composite score relates to a slower degradation of the fleet of vehicles, and altering assignment of the plurality of vehicle operations assigned to each vehicle in the fleet of vehicles based on the composite score data to enable a higher composite score by equalizing an average degradation of the fleet of vehicles.

Abstract: Remote power supply systems are provided for motor vehicles. The remote power supply systems may power auxiliary devices separate from the vehicle. Exemplary remote power supply systems may include one or more exportable power outlet boxes that include electrical power outlets for connecting the auxiliary devices. The electrical power outlets may be powered by a generator system of the vehicle. A control module associated with the remote power supply system may command one or more vehicle-specific actions designed to reduce the realized sound level at one or more nearby areas of interest when operating the vehicle in a power generation mode.

Abstract: Charge adaptors may be provided as part of a bidirectional energy transfer system for charging multiple vehicles from a single power source. An exemplary charge adaptor may enable intelligent charging of multiple vehicles from the power source through various configurations (e.g., daisy-chain, multiplex, etc.) and strategies (e.g. sequential, parallel, staged, etc.). A microcontroller of the charge adaptor may serve as the primary controller of energy flow through a bidirectional energy transfer system, with other connected devices such as the charge source, vehicles, and other charge adaptors configured to function as periphery control devices. The charge adaptor may implement an AC coupled design in which a common voltage bus is utilized to splice energy to other charge adaptors for enabling bidirectional energy transfers.

Abstract: The disclosure is generally directed to systems and methods for guiding an individual to an electrical power outlet in a vehicle. An example method executed by a processor of an electrical power outlet controller in a vehicle includes determining that an individual is seeking an electrical power outlet provided on the vehicle, selecting a first electrical power outlet from a plurality of electrical power outlets provided on the vehicle, and providing location information of the first electrical power outlet. The location information may be provided in various forms such as in the form of an audio signal (a beeping sound produced by a beeper, for example), a visual indication (a light source illuminating the electrical power outlet, for example) an audible instruction (navigation assistance provided via a speaker, for example), a graphical indication (navigation assistance via a personal device), and/or a text message (navigation assistance via a personal device).
