Abstract: A vehicle having an ambient temperature sensor, a low voltage lithium-ion battery and a controller is provided. The controller is configured to monitor the ambient temperature sensor and based on a determination that an ambient temperature is below a threshold value, provide an alternating current power to the low voltage lithium-ion battery. The alternating current power causes the low voltage lithium-ion battery to heat.

The system changing the temperature of the battery toward the targeted battery temperature range.

Abstract: This application provides a vehicle and a power battery heating apparatus and method thereof. In the method, when a current temperature value of a power battery is lower than a preset temperature value, and a heating condition of the power battery meets a preset condition, a three-phase inverter is controlled to cause a three-phase alternating current motor to generate heat to heat a coolant flowing through the power battery. A preset quadrature-axis current and a corresponding preset direct-axis current are obtained to control the three-phase inverter to adjust a phase current of the three-phase alternating current motor in the heating process, so that electromagnetic torque with a small torque value is outputted at a motor shaft. The electromagnetic torque causes the motor output shaft to output a pre-tightening force to the transmission mechanism, thereby eliminating an engagement gap and effectively avoiding jitters of the vehicle.

Abstract: A vehicle includes a secondary battery, a power receiver, a charger, a heat generator, and a battery temperature raising unit. The power receiver receives an electromagnetic wave to generate electric power. The charger charges the secondary battery by using the electric power generated by the power receiver. The heat generator receives the electromagnetic wave to generate heat. The battery temperature raising unit raises temperature of the secondary battery by using the heat generator as a heat source. A part of a heat generation band, which is a frequency band of the electromagnetic wave in which the heat generator has an increased heat generation efficiency, does not overlap a power generation band, which is a frequency band of the electromagnetic wave in which the power receiver has an increased power generation efficiency, and a part of the power generation band does not overlap the heat generation band.

Abstract: A temperature adjustment mechanism for a vehicle includes a battery-applied pump and circulation paths, and adjusts a temperature of a battery chargeable from an external power supply outside the vehicle to be within a predetermined temperature range. The temperature adjustment mechanism further includes a vacuum insulation tank in which either cold water generated by a cold energy source or hot water heated by a hot energy source is stored according to an ambient temperature during charging of the battery from the external power supply. At a time of input and output of electric power in the battery excluding a charge from the external power supply, the vacuum insulation tank is connected to the circulation paths, the cold water or the hot water stored in the vacuum insulation tank is supplied to the battery by driving the battery-applied pump, and a battery temperature is kept within the temperature range.
