摘要: Ventilation enclosures (10) for use with battery assemblies (11) and methods of cooling battery assemblies using the same are provided. The ventilation enclosures (10) comprise one or more sidewalls (14, 16) having a plurality of inwardly projecting dimples (26) formed therein. The dimples (26) physically contact a battery assembly housing (13) to provide for conductive heat transfer between the housing and the enclosure (10). The dimples (26) also improve convective heat transfer away from the battery assembly housing (13) by inducing more turbulent air flow within the space (20) located between the housing and the ventilation enclosure (10).

摘要: An energy storage system includes an energy storage component. It further includes heat generating electronics. It further includes a fluid circulator that transfers fluid between the energy storage component and the heat generating electronics. The circulator is controlled to alternatively transfer fluid from the battery to the heat generating electronics or from the heat generating electronics to the energy storage component based at least in part on a thermal state of the energy storage system.

摘要: A battery module includes a thermal conductive housing. A plurality of cells are arranged within the housing. An electrically insulated bottom cell holder is located between the plurality of cells and the housing. The bottom cell holder has a network of positions in which each of the plurality of cells are inserted and held. Each of the positions has an offsetting member that creates a space between the plurality of cells and a first side of the housing. A thermal adhesive occupies the space, thereby fixing each of the plurality of cells to the housing. Other aspects are described.

摘要: A battery pack includes cells having a positive terminal and a negative terminal, battery modules in which the cells are laminated, a battery case accommodating the battery modules, and a water jacket connected to a heat exchange system and configured to cool the battery modules from below. The battery case includes a first section in which the battery modules are arranged, and heat exchange between the battery modules and the water jacket is performed, a second section provided above the water jacket, and in which no battery module is disposed, a gap provided between the cells and an inner wall of the battery case, and through which air is capable of passing, a fin provided in the second section, and formed to protrude from a side of the water jacket, and a fan circulating air across the first section and the second section.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a battery pack including a housing, wherein the housing has a bottom portion, on which are disposed a first length side wall and a second length side wall that extend upward along a length direction of the bottom portion and are oppositely disposed, and a first width side wall and a second width side wall that extend upward along a width direction of the bottom portion and are oppositely disposed; the housing comprises a first step and a second step disposed at two ends of the first length side wall; the housing further comprises a first metal wiring terminal and a second metal wiring terminal, wherein the first metal wiring terminal and the second metal wiring terminal are disposed on the first step and the second step, respectively; a material for bearing the first metal wiring terminal and the second metal wiring terminal is a first plastic material, while other parts of the housing are made of a second plastic material, or most of other parts of the housing are made of the second plastic material. The two materials have different characteristics suitable for a requirement of the battery pack on the material.
