摘要: An apparatus for hot spot sensing where the apparatus includes an input unit, a processing unit, and an output unit. The input unit is configured to provide the processing unit with an image of an object that includes a hot spot. The image data of the image includes image data of the hot spot where the image was acquired by a camera. The processing unit is configured to determine a number of pixels in the image corresponding to a size of the hot spot, an average temperature for the hot spot, the determination comprising utilization of pixel values of the pixels in the image corresponding to the size of the hot spot and the number of pixels in the image corresponding to the size of the hot spot, a surrounding temperature in the image, and a corrected temperature for the hot spot.

摘要: A non-transitory computer readable media can cause the imaging analysis computer to: obtain a 3D model of a preheater level of the preheater; obtain at least one infrared image of a fixed field of view of the preheater level of the preheater; analyze all pixels in the fixed field of view of the at least one infrared image for each pixel temperature; generate a 2D temperature model of the preheater level; overlaying the 2D temperature model over the 3D model to generate a virtual 3D preheater level temperature model; and provide a visual representation of the virtual 3D preheater level temperature model.

摘要: The present subject matter provides various technical solutions to technical problems facing automated solutions in building energy audit applications. These solutions leverage heat loss quantification to improve a building's thermal performance and improve or optimize its energy usage. The technical solutions described herein provide various advantages. These solutions include application of deep-learning methods to segment large thermal imagery data sets from a drone. The technical solutions described herein provide improved building thermal efficiency determination using multiple stages of computations to quantify the heat loss for a building envelope.

摘要: A method for obtaining the position of a person in a space of a building via a thermal imager including a wide-angle lens, the method including: acquiring, with the thermal imager, through its wide-angle lens, a deformed thermal image of a scene including the person, the deformed thermal image including a hot zone corresponding to the person present in the scene; extracting a region of interest corresponding to the person from the deformed thermal image using an algorithm; determining the position of the region of interest by identifying the polar coordinates distance r and angle θ of the centre of the region of interest in a polar coordinate system the origin of which is at the centre of the deformed thermal image; and obtaining the actual position of the person by applying a wide-angle correction function to the distance r.

In one aspect, an infrared detector is provided that includes a pyroelectric sensor; a controller for receiving a trigger signal outputted by the pyroelectric sensor; a thermopile sensor, wherein the controller starts the thermopile sensor after receiving the trigger signal output by the pyroelectric sensor; and an alarm, wherein the controller controls the alarm to generate an alarm signal in response to a determination that a difference between a current temperature and a background temperature detected by the thermopile sensor is larger than a threshold value and a determination that the areas of the thermopile sensor activated correspond to a human being.

摘要: A detection system includes a polarization analyzer that generates one or more null detection values if an object is sensed in a received millimeter wave (MMW) brightness temperature data set. The polarization analyzer analyzes a polarization parameter in the received MMW brightness temperature data set to generate the one or more null detection values. An object detector detects if the object is present based on a comparison of the one or more null detection values to a predetermined threshold. A singular value decomposition (SVD) unit is enabled by the object detector to decompose the MMW brightness temperature data set into a plurality of image layers. Each image layer includes at least one feature of a scene. An identification unit analyzes the plurality of image layers from the SVD unit to determine a shape or a location of the object from the scene.

摘要: A non-destructive approach for the 3D localization of buried hot spots in electronic device architectures by use of Lock-in Thermography (LIT). The 3D analysis is based on the principles of thermal wave propagation through different material layers and the resulting phase shift/thermal time delay. With more complex multi level stacked die architectures it is necessary to acquire multiple LIT results at different excitation frequencies for precise hot spot depth localization. Additionally, the use of multiple time-resolved thermal waveforms, measured in a minimized field of view on top of the hot spot location, can be used to speed up the data acquisition. The shape of the resulting waveforms can be analyzed to further increase the detection accuracy and confidence level.
