摘要: A method of monitoring status information of devices is described. The method includes establishing a first connection to a hardware resource executing a cloud extension agent on a local network, over a wide area network external from the local network and separated by at least one firewall, using a standard internet protocol. The method further includes sending, via the first connection, a first set of instructions to manage a first set of mobile devices by one or more local servers on the local network; and receiving status information via the secure network connection, wherein the status information is from the one or more local servers on the local network associated with a plurality of devices that access the one or more local servers.

摘要: A cloud extension agent can be provided on a customer premise for interfacing, via an outbound secure connection, cloud based services. The cloud extension agent can reach the cloud based services through existing firewall infrastructure, thereby providing simple, secure deployment. Furthermore, the secure connection can enable substantially real-time communication with a cloud service to provide web-based, substantially real time control or management of resources on the customer premises via the cloud extension agent.

摘要: Methods and systems for processing communication systems are disclosed. A request for a communication session can be analyzed to determine a device or pool of devices to process the communication session. Data associated with the communication session, including session description data, can be analyzed using rules that associate types of data with corresponding processing devices. The rules can be based on levels of complexity associated with the data, and different pools of processing devices can be associated with different levels of complexity. Thus, communication sessions assigned a level of complexity can be matched with pools of devices associated with the same level of complexity.

摘要: This application discloses a decentralization processing method, which are applied to a microservice system. A first communication proxy in the microservice system receives a first microservice request sent by a first microservice application, the first communication proxy determines, based on a target control plane rule, a microservice access address corresponding to the first microservice request, and sends the first microservice request to the second communication proxy having the microservice access address, where the second communication proxy is used to forward the first microservice request to the second microservice application. The first communication proxy can send the microservice request to the corresponding second communication proxy, and a control plane does not need to route the microservice request, so that traffic for routing the microservice request by the control plane is effectively reduced, and impact of a burst of microservice requests on the control plane is effectively avoided.

摘要: Some embodiments provide a method that allows a first data compute node (DCN) to forward outgoing traffic to a second DCN directly in spite of receiving the incoming traffic from the second DCN through a load balancer. That is, the return traffic's network path from the first DCN (e.g., a server machine) to the second DCN (e.g., a client machine) bypasses the load balancer, even though a request that initiated the return traffic is received through the load balancer. The load balancer receives a connection session request from a client machine to connect to a server. It identifies a set of parameters for the connection session and after selecting a server for the connection, passes the identified set of parameters to a host machine that executes the server. The server establishes the connection session directly with the client machine based on the identified set of parameters.

In some embodiments, a voice platform operates to receive a voice input from a user. The voice platform selects a digital assistant from a plurality of digital assistants based on a trigger word. The voice platform then generates an intent from the voice input using the selected digital assistant. The voice platform then transmits the intent to a media device for processing.

摘要: Technologies for switching network traffic include a network switch. The network switch includes one or more processors and communication circuitry coupled to the one or more processors. The communication circuitry is capable of switching network traffic of multiple link layer protocols. Additionally, the network switch includes one or more memory devices storing instructions that, when executed, cause the network switch to receive, with the communication circuitry through an optical connection, network traffic to be forwarded, and determine a link layer protocol of the received network traffic. The instructions additionally cause the network switch to forward the network traffic as a function of the determined link layer protocol. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

摘要: A digital content recording network controller device determines a first content of a set of content to be more likely to be requested by a user of a content access device than a second content of the set of content based on monitored behavior of the user. The device stores the first content in a first storage device of a tiered group of storage devices and stores the second content in a second storage device of the tiered group of storage devices wherein the content access device is located closer to the first storage device than the second storage device. This balances storage load with accessibility, resulting in a faster responding system that does not require as much storage.
