摘要: A method for adjusting state of charge (SOC) limits aboard a motor vehicle having a propulsion battery pack includes receiving a pre-drive information set via a host computer and identifying, from the pre-drive information set, a probability that the motor vehicle is about to embark on a road trip. The road trip is a drive event in which the motor vehicle will travel outside of a predetermined area. The method further includes expanding the SOC limits of the propulsion battery pack when the motor vehicle is about to embark on the road trip, such that a total SOC window of the propulsion battery pack is increased for a duration of the road trip.

The front and rear junction boxes, the front rear, and center bus bars, the electrical device, and the cooling plate are disposed on or above a top of the battery case.

摘要: A T-harness for use in vehicles is provided. The T-harness has a main harness portion and a removable harness portion. The main harness portion has a vehicle OBD harness connector including a splitter, a telematics device harness connector, a telematics device harness segment connecting the vehicle OBD connector to the telematics device harness connector, a receptacle connector, and an auxiliary harness segment connecting the vehicle OBD connector to the receptacle connector. The removable harness portion has an auxiliary OBD harness connector, a plug connector configured for mating with the receptacle connector, and a multi-wire cable connecting the plug connector to the auxiliary OBD harness connector. A method of installing the T-harness in the vehicle is also provided.

摘要: A method for detecting damage to an outer shell of a vehicle. The vehicle is of a specific type with specific vehicle data. Damage can be classified into at least two groups. Damage of a first group has a greater severity of the damage than damage of a second group. An acceleration of the vehicle is ascertained and/or a rotation rate of the vehicle is ascertained. Damage of the first group is ascertained if the acceleration of the vehicle exceeds a threshold value of the acceleration and/or if the rotation rate of the vehicle exceeds a threshold value of the rotation rate. The acceleration and/or the rotation rate are compared to acceleration values and/or rotation rate values learned for the specific vehicle type. Damage of the second group is ascertained if damage is detected as a function of the comparison to the learned values.

摘要: Methods and systems autonomously parking and retrieving vehicles are disclosed. Available parking spaces or parking facilities may be identified, and the vehicle may be navigated to an available space from a drop-off location without passengers. Special-purpose sensors, GPS data, or wireless signal triangulation may be used to identify vehicles and available parking spots. Upon a user request or a prediction of upcoming user demand, the vehicle may be retrieved autonomously from a parking space. Other vehicles may be autonomously moved to facilitate parking or retrieval.

摘要: A mobile object setting system includes a setting device configured to perform a process of setting equipment provided in a mobile object and a plurality of terminal devices capable of communicating with the setting device. The setting device includes a storage device configured to store a program and setting information of the equipment and a hardware processor. The hardware processor manages the setting information in association with a user of the mobile object by executing the program stored in the storage device, identifies the user of the mobile object based on a result of communicating with the plurality of terminal devices, and acquires the setting information of the equipment associated with the identified user from the storage device to perform the process of setting the equipment based on the acquired setting information. The plurality of terminal devices instruct the setting device to change the setting of the equipment by transmitting the terminal information stored therein to the setting device. The storage device can store a plurality of setting information items for each piece of the equipment when the number of users registered in the setting device is one.
