Abstract: Methods and an assembly apparatus are described for operating a node-enabled logistics receptacle in a wireless node network having at least a first node related to an item being shipped. The method generally begins with the node-enabled logistics receptacle detecting a signal broadcast by the first node, such as when a package having the first node approaches the receptacle. The method then associates the node-enabled logistics receptacle with the first node. The method continues with the node-enabled logistics receptacle determining a location of the first node, and then altering a current inventory of nodes related to the node-enabled logistics receptacle based upon the location of the first node, such as when the first node is within a vicinity of the receptacle that is an area sufficiently proximate to the node-enabled logistics receptacle to indicate an item and node within the vicinity intends to be shipped.

Abstract: A worksite management system for a worksite includes a sensor module associated with each of one or more machines working on the worksite. The sensor module generates a signal indicative of a location of a corresponding one of a machine from the one or more machines. An on-board controller associated with each of the one or more machines receives the signal corresponding to the location of the corresponding one of the machine on the worksite, and looks up the location of the corresponding one of the machine in at least one of a pre-generated or learned terrain map of a network of haul routes. The on-board controller identifies at least one condition of the haul route at the looked-up location, and then generates an alert for an operator to perform one or more recommended actions with respect to an operating parameter of the corresponding one of the machine.

Abstract: Methods and systems for monitoring use, determining risk, and pricing insurance policies for a vehicle having one or more autonomous or semi-autonomous operation features are provided. According to certain aspects, an identity of a vehicle operator may be determined and a vehicle operator profile and/or operating data regarding autonomous operation features of the vehicle may be received after the vehicle operator opts into a rewards program and agrees to share their data. Autonomous operation and vehicle operator risk levels associated with operation of the autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle may be determined. Based upon the risk levels and/or comparison thereof, one or more autonomous operation features may he disengaged. A preparedness level of the vehicle operator to assume or reassume control of operating the vehicle is determined prior to disengagement. If satisfactory, an alert is presented to the vehicle operator prior to disengagement of the autonomous operation features.

Abstract: Systems and methods of performing logistical management are provided. The logistical management system may receive a request to ship a package from an electronic device associated with a user. The request can include an initial location and information relating to one or more characteristics of the package. In response to receiving the request, electronic data store may be queried to determine a set of possible itineraries for the package. The set of possible itineraries can then be validated against a set of pre-determined rules to produce a subset of itineraries. One of the subset of itineraries can then be chosen.

Abstract: Disclosed is a location tracking system and associated methods for precisely locating a target device with a recipient device via different forms of location tracking and augmented reality. The recipient device receives a first position of the target device over a data network. The recipient device is moved according to the first position until the target device is in Ultra-WideBand (“UWB”) signaling range of the recipient device. The recipient device then measures a distance and direction of the target device relative to the recipient device based on Time-of-Flight (“ToF”) measurements generated from the UWB signaling. The recipient device determines a second position of the target device based on the distance and direction of the target device, and generates an augmented reality view with a visual reference at a particular position in images of a captured scene that corresponds to the second position of the target device.

Abstract: Methods and systems for monitoring use, determining risk, and pricing insurance policies for a vehicle having one or more autonomous or semi-autonomous operation features arm provided. According to certain aspects, the operating status of the features, the identity of a vehicle operator, risk levels for operation of the vehicle by the vehicle operator, or damage to the vehicle may be determined based upon sensor or other data. According to further aspects, decisions regarding transferring control between the features and the vehicle operator may be made based upon sensor data and information regarding the vehicle operator. Additional aspects may recommend or install updates to the autonomous operation features based upon determined risk levels. Some aspects may include monitoring transportation infrastructure and communicating information about the infrastructure to vehicles.
