摘要: An imitation learning-based machine-learned (ML) model to augment or replace the prediction and/or planner components of an autonomous vehicle may be trained using a two stage and multi-discipline approach. A first stage of training may include training the ML component to output a predicted action associated with a target vehicle and modifying the ML component to reduce a difference between the predicted action and the observed action taken by the target vehicle. A second stage may use reinforcement learning to further tun the ML component. The resultant model may be used on its own, with enough training data, or to rank or weight candidate trajectories generated by a planning component of the vehicle. The ML component may provide embeddings of environment features to first transformer(s) that output to a long short-term memory that outputs to second transformer(s) to determine the predicted action.

摘要: A method ensures that a vehicle can safely pass a traffic light. The vehicle includes a processor and a light sensor. The method includes receiving traffic data, establishing a speed profile, establishing a control distance, the processor establishing, in accordance with the speed profile, a control distance at which braking ensures that the vehicle stops safely before the position of the traffic light, adjustment according to the speed profile, detecting the state of the traffic light when the vehicle is at the control distance from the traffic light, and the processor activating braking if the traffic light is red.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a control apparatus and method for improving fuel efficiency in a CACC system, which can improve fuel efficiency through control of a vehicle speed so that a vehicle travels using an optimized cost in consideration of a target vehicle speed, current vehicle speed, minimum driving speed set in the vehicle, and a deceleration distance if the vehicle that uses the CACC system senses a forward vehicle and enters into a CACC active mode. The control method for improving fuel efficiency in a CACC system includes setting a target speed profile based on a target speed of the subject vehicle and an expected driving path, determining whether a target vehicle to be followed by the subject vehicle exists, and controlling the driving speed of the subject vehicle according to the set target speed profile depending on whether or not the target vehicle exists.

摘要: A method for determining a speed profile of a motor vehicle on a route between a starting point and an arrival point. The method includes the steps of defining a series of noteworthy points of the route, which are characterized by a stoppage of the vehicle or a decrease in the speed of the vehicle, the series of noteworthy points dividing the route into a series of portions, for each portion of the route, generating a speed and/or torque setpoint optimizing the speed profile of the vehicle by minimizing the Hamiltonian of a system of equations modeling the driving of the vehicle, and providing the setpoint generated on each portion of the route so as to optimize the driving of the vehicle up to the arrival point.

摘要: In a control system having at least one electronic control unit for controlling an internal combustion engine in a hybrid vehicle, the control unit is designed in such a way that it evaluates input signals for detecting data for identifying a current situation and for identifying at least one situation prevailing in the near future with regard to an expected speed and load curve. The control system controls, in a manner that is adaptive to the situation, the restart and shutoff of the internal combustion engine.

摘要: In a control system having at least one electronic control unit for controlling an internal combustion engine in a hybrid vehicle, the control unit is designed in such a way that it evaluates input signals for detecting data for identifying a current situation and for identifying at least one situation forecast in the near future with regard to an expected speed curve and at least the predicted current traffic light phase duration. Depending thereon and on a change in load brought about by a driver interaction, the control unit controls, in a manner that is adaptive to the situation, the restart and shutoff of the internal combustion engine independently of a currently predefined EV mode speed limit and/or EV mode load limit.

摘要: A method for guidance of driver behavior during driving of a vehicle (1) in hilltop driving: the steps of continuously determining topography along the vehicle's itinerary for determining a profile of the vehicle's speed (v); presenting (S2) the vehicle driver with suggestions for action concerning the driving of the vehicle for a desired reduction of fuel consumption, the action includes reduced power mobilization before a hilltop transition. A profile of the vehicle speed (v) is determined as a result of the action, whereby the step of presenting (S2) the vehicle's driver with suggestions for said action, is subject to consideration to subconditions. The subconditions include requirements in response to reduced power mobilization, the speed of the vehicle (1) relative to a reference level (vref) should: drop by a predetermined largest amount before the hilltop transition; drop by a predetermined smallest amount before the hilltop transition; reach or exceed the reference level (vref) after the hilltop transition. Also disclosed is a system for guidance of driver behavior during driving of a vehicle in hilltop driving, a motor vehicle practicing the method and a system and a computer program for executing the method.

摘要: A method for controlling a vehicle. A piece of hazard area information, which represents at least one hazard area in the surroundings of the vehicle, and a piece of approach information, which represents an approach to the vehicle of at least one further vehicle driving next to the vehicle, are read in. Using the approach information, at least one collision parameter of a collision between the vehicle and the further vehicle is ascertained. Finally, a control signal is generated, using the collision parameter and the hazard area information, to steer the vehicle in a direction facing away from the hazard area.

摘要: A vehicle, method, and track control system for sensing the temperature of a track and controlling the vehicle's speed based on the temperature of the track. The track temperature may be sensed by a sensor embedded in a portion of the track, such as in a drive lug, a tread bar, or portion of the carcass. The temperature of the track may also be used to alert an operator of a track temperature issue or request that the operator reduce the speed of the vehicle.
