摘要: A depletion amount of energy required to charge a user device connected to a device port of a vehicle is estimated based on a state of charge (SoC) of a device battery of the connected user device. Responsive to an expected SoC of a LV battery of the vehicle after providing the depletion amount of energy exceeding a calibrated threshold amount of energy of the LV battery, the connected user device is charged during key off. Otherwise, an engine start/stop schedule defining a time to start an engine of the vehicle and a duration of run time for the engine is utilized to generate additional energy to charge the connected user device to ensure the LV battery remains above the calibrated threshold amount of energy.

摘要: In an internal combustion engine, fuel injection is stopped to automatically stop the engine when automatic stop conditions are met. When there is a request to restart the engine while an engine speed is decreasing due to automatic stoppage, the engine is started by resuming fuel injection if the engine speed is equal to or greater than a combustion recoverable rotational speed threshold, at which restarting is possible only by fuel injection. When there is a request to restart the engine while an engine speed is decreasing due to automatic stoppage, the engine is started using a starter motor if the engine speed is less than the combustion recoverable rotational speed threshold. When there is a request to restart the engine in a brake ON state, the engine is not started by resuming fuel injection, but rotated and started using the starter motor.

摘要: A method for controlling a vehicle includes: receiving a detection signal to perform an idle stop and go (ISG) function; and controlling the vehicle to enter into an ISG state where a fuel supply to an engine is cut off and the engine stops when the vehicle decelerates or stops in response to the detection signal. The detection signal includes a fuel cut off signal that is in on state when the vehicle decelerates and in off state at a reference revolution per minute (RPM) of the engine, a gear engagement signal, and a brake pedal signal indicating whether the brake pedal of the vehicle is operated. A controller of the vehicle generates an ISG entry signal based on the fuel cut off signal, the gear engagement signal, and the brake pedal signal to enter the vehicle into the ISG state.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for a vehicle including a start-stop system configured to shut down and restart an engine of the vehicle automatically based on a brake value of a brake system. In one example, the method may include determining a first threshold brake value as a first function of a gradient of a surface on which the vehicle is positioned, determining a second threshold brake value as a second function of the gradient, wherein a difference between the first and second threshold brake values varies as a function of the gradient, shut down the engine when the brake value exceeds the first threshold brake value, and restart the engine when the brake value drops below the second threshold brake value. In this way, an incidence of inadvertent engine shut downs and restarts when the vehicle is stopped on an incline may be decreased.

摘要: A method of stopping and starting an engine of a vehicle having a manually operated clutch system including a clutch for driveably connecting the engine to a transmission includes controlling stopping and starting of the engine based on first and second clutch engagement thresholds selected based on whether the clutch is being engaged or disengaged. The first threshold corresponds to a more disengaged state of the clutch than the second threshold. The first threshold is used when the clutch is being disengaged to decide whether the engine can be shut down while the transmission remains in-gear. The second threshold is used when the clutch is being engaged to decide whether the engine can be started while the transmission remains in-gear. By using a less conservative threshold for starting the engine than stopping the engine, the number of inhibited restarts is reduced.

摘要: A monitoring method for use in a motor vehicle is proposed. The motor vehicle comprises a speed control system with stop and go function. The monitoring method comprises starling, upon standstill of the motor vehicle, monitoring of a startup procedure of the motor vehicle. The method further comprises monitoring the startup procedure, during the startup procedure, by comparing an actual movement with a maximum movement profile. The actual movement results from measured movements of the motor vehicle. The maximum movement profile represents predefined movements of the motor vehicle. The method further comprises triggering a signal when a currently measured actual movement profile exceeds the maximum movement profile. A monitoring system, and a system comprising the monitoring system and the speed control system with stop and go function are further described.
