Abstract: A system and methods to facilitate transporting goods is disclosed. In aspects, the system can have a user interface comprising a display, a non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions, and a processor in communication with the non-transitory computer-readable medium and with the display. The instructions can be executed by the processor to process a user request for transporting the good from a pickup location to a destination location. Based on the user request, a preferred route from the pickup location to the destination location can be generated. The transporting can be controlled using a display by modifying a task icon.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for managing a user request for a transport of good. An embodiment operates by receiving a user request for the transport of the good from a pickup location to a destination location. After receiving the user request, a pickup and destination node is identified from a pre-generated graph of nodes. Subsequently, a transit cost for the pickup location or the destination location is determined. Based on the lowest transit cost, a preferred route among possible routes from the pickup location is generated. Thereafter, a transporter arrival time related to the pickup location and/or an intermediate location is determined based on the preferred route, and a transporter to pick up the good from the pickup location or the intermediate location is assigned and tracked during the transporting of the good.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for selecting a particular eligible transporter for transporting a first good for a first job. An embodiment operates by receiving a request for transporting the good from a pickup location to a delivery location. Thereafter, eligible transporters for transporting the good from the pickup location to a first intermediate location or the delivery location (option one), or from the first intermediate location to a second intermediate location or the delivery location (option two), are identifier. Subsequently, for each eligible transporter, an estimated completion time (ECT) for the transporting of the first good is derived. Based on the ECT for each eligible transporter, a request to transport the good is sent to one of the eligible transporters.
