摘要： The present invention provides a process for preparing a functionalised polymeric chromatography medium, which process comprises (I) providing two or more non-woven sheets stacked one on top of the other, each said sheet comprising one or more polymer nanofibres, (II) simultaneously heating and pressing the stack of sheets to fuse points of contact between the nanofibres of adjacent sheets, and (III) contacting the pressed and heated product with a reagent which functionalises the product of step (II) as a chromatography medium.

摘要： An adhesive tape substrate production method disclosed in the present description includes the steps of decreasing the amount of a sizing agent contained in a glass cloth by heat; impregnating the glass cloth for which the amount of the sizing agent has been decreased with a dispersion of a fluorine resin; and heating the impregnated glass cloth to a temperature equal to or higher than a melting point of the fluorine resin. Thus, an adhesive tape substrate including the glass cloth impregnated with the fluorine resin is obtained. This method are more productive of adhesive tape substrates and adhesive tapes than conventional methods. In addition, adhesive tape substrates and adhesive tapes for which the occurrence of defects in appearance are reduced can be produced.

摘要： A method for manufacturing a laminate sheet including a fluororesin film and a silicone rubber sheet that are adhered to one another, where the fluororesin film has a reactive functional group as a result of a surface treatment, the side with the reactive functional group is overlapped with an organic peroxide-containing millable-type silicone rubber composition, where the silicone rubber composition is sheet-shaped and the organic peroxide has a one-minute half-life temperature in the range of 100-150° C., and the silicone rubber composition is cured by being heated under pressure at 90-135° C. The laminate sheet has a peel adhesion strength of 3N or more. The four corners of a 120 mm square test sample of the laminate sheet do not curve into one end of a semicircular arc shape or one end of a C shape, and the average warpage value of the four corners is 35 mm or less.

摘要： A tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) copolymer film having a first endotherm between about 50° C. and about 300° C., a second endotherm between about 320° C. and about 350° C., and a third endotherm between about 350° C. and about 400° C. is provided. In exemplary embodiments, the third endotherm is approximately 380° C. In some embodiments, the second endotherm is between about 320° C. and about 330° C. or between about 330° C. and about 350° C. TFE copolymer films have a methane permeability less than about 20 μg*micron/cm2/min. In addition, the dense articles have a void volume of less than about 20%. Methods for dense articles from core shell tetrafluoroethylene copolymers are also provided. The dense articles exhibit improved physical and mechanical properties such as adhesion and barrier properties.

摘要： Provided herein are ecologically friendly waterproof fabrics that include a base fabric having a body-facing surface and an outward-facing surface, and a hydrophobic, waterproof barrier disposed on the outward-facing surface of the base fabric. The base fabric may be a wicking fabric or may be treated with a compound that enhances wicking, and the hydrophobic, waterproof barrier may include a plastic polymer, polyurethane, polyethylene, and/or polytetrafluoroethylene. The waterproof fabrics also may include an abrasion-resistant coating and/or a PFC-free durable water repellant (DWR) agent disposed on an outward-facing surface of the hydrophobic, waterproof barrier, and one or both of the abrasion-resistant coating and/or PFC-free DWR agent may be discontinuous. Also provided are methods of making a waterproof fabric.

摘要： A base assembly for an acoustic transducer includes a first substrate with an acoustic port and a dielectric layer having a substantially uniform initial density. One surface of the dielectric layer contacts the first substrate. An opposite surface of the dielectric layer contacts a second substrate having an acoustic port. The respective acoustic ports of the first and second substrates are aligned with each other. The first substrate, the dielectric layer, and the second substrate are laminated together. A substantial portion of the dielectric layer laminated to the first and second substrates has a higher final density due to compaction than does a portion of the dielectric layer disposed in the respective acoustic ports of the first and second substrates.

The structural glazing tape includes a polymer foam tape having first and second major surfaces, an adhesive layer overlying the first major surface for bonding the structural glazing tape to the structural frame, and a release layer overlying the second major surface. The method further includes filling a channel defined by the glass panel, the metal frame, and the structural glazing tape with a curable sealant, and curing the sealant to bond the glass panel and the metal frame together.
