The second portion of the mesh surrounds a first portion of the mesh. The method further comprises applying a predetermined force to the filter assembly for a predetermined period of time, thereby obtaining a filter device comprising a closed portion of the filter device at the second portion of the mesh, and comprising an open portion of the filter device at the first portion of the mesh.
