摘要: Disclosed is a filter device, a hearing device, a method of assembling a hearing device, and a method of manufacturing a filter device. The method of manufacturing the filter device comprises providing a mesh, a first adhesive element, and a second adhesive element. The method further comprises arranging the first adhesive element and the second adhesive element on opposite surfaces of the mesh at a second portion of the mesh to obtain a filter assembly. The second portion of the mesh surrounds a first portion of the mesh. The method further comprises applying a predetermined force to the filter assembly for a predetermined period of time, thereby obtaining a filter device comprising a closed portion of the filter device at the second portion of the mesh, and comprising an open portion of the filter device at the first portion of the mesh.

The first and second flange are fixedly coupled with the housing. A cross-section of the first and second flange includes an arched region that extends at least partially to an inner wall of the housing. The arched regions are oriented in opposite directions.

The microphone filtration system may include an outer support structure, at least one filtration layer, an inner support structure, and a sleeve. The microphone filtration system is configured to seal a transducer chamber of the microphone assembly from the outside environment, and trap particles that may buildup and corrode a transducer housed by the transducer chamber. The at least one filtration layer of the particle filtration system provides a Minimum Efficient Reporting Value (MERV) rating greater than or equal to 13 while minimizing attenuation and distortion of the soundwaves entering the transducer chamber.

The microphone plug has a first end coupled to the microphone and a second end that is configured to be positioned adjacent the contaminant-proof membrane. As such, the microphone plug is disposed between a sound inlet of the microphone and the contaminant-proof membrane. The microphone plug may be configured to mate with the housing or a gasket attached to the housing.

Because structural characteristics of all the components the device, wind noise included in an audio signal received by the microphone through the sound transmission hole (1041) is effectively reduced.

In the failure diagnosing system and the method, the presence or absence of a failure of the main microphone in the noise level meter is diagnosed based on the comparison between main and sub noise data obtained by the main and sub microphones and respectively in each of a plurality of recording periods.
