Abstract: An object of a first embodiment of the present invention is to provide an electrical debonding type adhesive sheet which can be applied while inhibiting the trapping of air bubbles and while easily avoiding surface irregularities, etc., and which gives a joined body that can be easily debonded. The electrical debonding type adhesive sheet according to the first embodiment of the present invention includes a substrate for voltage application, a first adhesive layer, which is constituted of an electrically debondable adhesive and is formed on an electroconductive surface of the substrate for voltage application, and a second adhesive layer, which is formed on the opposite surface of the substrate for voltage application, the electrical debonding type adhesive sheet including a plurality of linked parts and a linking part which links the plurality of linked parts to each other.

Abstract: A single direction gas permeable protective covering material for protecting solid stone surface countertop materials is provided. The protective covering material includes a core layer which is formed as an elongate thin sheet of material having uniform thickness. The protective covering material also includes an outer protective layer attached to a first side of the core layer and a dual layer adhesive system attached to a second side of the core layer. The protective covering material includes cone shaped pores therethrough that are gas permeable to allow for out-gassing of stone countertop materials. The protective covering material is designed to be permanently attached to a porous stone countertop material with the dual layer adhesive system to protect the countertop material from damage during daily use.

Abstract: A self-adhesive edge-protection tape is intended to improve the protective effect for glass edges. This is achieved by providing an adhesive tape which comprises, in sequence directed towards the substrate to be covered, a backing layer (hard phase) and a soft phase comprising a polymer foam, a viscoelastic composition and/or an elastomeric composition, where the thickness of the hard phase is ≦150 μm, the thickness of the soft phase is ≧200 μm and the ratio of the thickness of the soft phase to the thickness of the hard phase is ≧4. The invention also relates to a solar module which comprises an adhesive tape according to the invention adhesive-bonded around at least one portion of the edges thereof, and the use of the claimed adhesive tape for the protection of edges of a solar module.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an acoustical and thermal decoupling system (10) in a form of a polymer tape that includes a closed-cell foam layer (12) having a front side and a reverse side, a pressure sensitive adhesive (14) coated on the reverse side of the closed-cell foam layer (12), and a release liner (16) covering the pressure sensitive adhesive (14) on the reverse side of the closed-cell foam layer (12). The acoustical and thermal decoupling system (10) may be installed directly to a structural member of a building by removing the release liner (16) from the reverse side of the closed-cell foam layer (12) and pressing the reverse side of the closed-cell foam layer (12) against the structural member, allowing the pressure sensitive adhesive (14) to bond the closed-cell foam layer (12) directly to the structural member.
