摘要: A system and method for assembling framing assemblies for use as ceiling or floor structures of modular building units using automation are disclosed. The framing assemblies include trusses that are attached at the lateral edges thereof by a joist including at least one layer of dimensional lumber to form a substantially rigid framework. Cover panels are positioned over and attached to an inner surface of the framing assembly.

摘要: A construction system includes a set of constituent elements, at least one of which includes at least two superimposed folds each including at least two wooden structural boards. In this system, at least two constituent elements are fixed together by a non-adhesive fixing device and at least two adjacent folds are held against each other by non-adhesive holding device. The faces in contact with two structural boards are at least partially provided, at their contact interface, with a set of grooved patterns arranged so as to prevent the structural boards from sliding one relative to the other along at least one first immobilisation axis. A method for manufacturing such a construction system is also disclosed.

An embodiment includes at least three components of a structural frame and at least two spacers. The spacers are not structural elements of the frame and may be fastened to heads of the structural components of the frame. The spacers may be foldable. A manufacturing method for assembling the wall frame components for shipping is provided. A method for forming a wall frame from the shipped, packed-together components is also provided.

摘要: An integrated fiber cement and foam cladding system is provided that incorporates foam or similar light weight material to improve the insulation capacity of the cladding system. The system includes at least a fiber cement layer and a foam layer disposed on the backside of the fiber cement layer. The system improves the R-value of the building, a measure of the building's resistance to transferring heat or thermal energy.

摘要: A protective drainage wrap comprises a cross-woven material portion, cross-laminate material portion or mesh material portion in first and second directions and a breathable solid layer portion. The material in the first and second directions comprises a polyolefin, polyester, nylon or combinations thereof. The first direction being roughly perpendicular to the second direction. The cross-woven, cross-laminate or mesh material portions being adapted to facilitate a drainage path. The breathable solid layer portion is attached to the cross-woven material portion, cross-laminate material portion or mesh material portion. The breathable solid layer portion is adapted to allow water vapor to flow therethrough.

摘要: A building water-management system (1) includes a base material (6) and fiber composite sheets (10, 20) attached to the base material (6). Each fiber composite sheet (10, 20) includes a fiber core (12) having a first side (13), an opposing second side (14), and a surface layer (16) adhered to the first side (13) of the fiber core (12). Adjacent fiber composite sheets (10, 20) are connected together by a lapped configuration (30) such that the surface layer (16) of a first fiber composite sheet (10) extends from the base material (6) and onto a fiber core (22) of an adjacent second fiber composite sheet (20) and the fiber cores (12, 22) of the first and second fiber composite sheets (10, 20) are aligned next to each other to allow water to flow between the fiber cores (12, 22), thereby forming a continuous water drainage and repellant layer. A shower assembly (90) using the fiber composite sheets (10, 20) is also disclosed.
