摘要: Methods, systems, and panels for retrofitting an existing exterior of a building. In one example, the method may include: (a) obtaining data about an exterior geometry of the existing exterior; (b) using the obtained data, defining a custom retrofit panel system for the exterior geometry; and (c) constructing the custom retrofit panel system including a plurality of panels, in which constructing a panel includes: (i) forming a panel frame by additive manufacturing, the panel frame defining interstitial spaces; (ii) at least partially filling the interstitial spaces with at least one filler; and (iii) in which the constructed panel includes a building facing surface configured to mate with the exterior geometry of the existing exterior.

摘要: A system includes a plurality of a clip, the clip comprises a securing mechanism, a first side, a second side, a bottom end, and a top end. During installation of an insulation system a plurality of the clip are coupled to a support beam and disposed within a plurality of notches of a second insulation board. The plurality of clips further include a width that is substantially equal to a width of the plurality of notches such that during the installation of the insulation system the plurality of clips are disposable within the plurality of notches to allow a second side of a first insulation board to contact a first side of the second insulation board and the securing mechanism secures a back surface of the first insulation board against the plurality of clips.

摘要: A concrete foundation with reinforcements is formed on a substrate. A first inner wythe horizontal layer and a first outer wythe horizontal layer are printed using a construction material mixture from a 3D printer. The first inner wythe horizontal layer and the first outer wythe horizontal layer are separated by an interstitial space. Additional inner wythe horizontal layers are printed upward on top of the first inner wythe horizontal layer to form a composite inner wythe. Additional outer wythe horizontal layers are printed upward on top of the first outer wythe horizontal layer to form a composite outer wythe. At least one wall tie is placed between the composite inner wythe and the composite outer wythe. A sill cap is installed on top of the composite inner wythe and the composite outer wythe. An anchor mechanism is installed into the sill cap.

摘要: The present invention relates to the technical field of construction mounting fasteners, and especially, to a novel metal nail sleeve for fixing a thermal insulation layer. The metal nail sleeve includes a nail sleeve body made of metal, and a fixed disk provided at one end of the nail sleeve body. The fixed disk has a central hole, the nail sleeve body has an axial through hole which is coaxial with the central hole, a guiding element is provided within the axial through hole, the guiding element has an axial hole which is configured to allow a front end of a nail to pass through and to accommodate a nail bar of the nail, the axial hole is coaxial with the axial through hole, the guiding element is made of materials with poor thermal conductivity. Compared with common metal nails, the nail sleeve is thicker, and after the nail sleeve is fit with the nail and combined with the fixed disk, the thermal insulation layer is able to be stably fixed to a wall body. Moreover, the nail sleeve body is a metal cylinder with variable diameter and has a higher strength. By providing the guiding member made of materials with poor thermal conductivity, it is possible to prevent poor heat preservation effects caused by heat exchange between the wall body and the exterior through the nail and the nail sleeve body due to direct contact between the metal nail and the metal nail sleeve body.

摘要: The disclosure provides methods for preparing a plural component material where part A and part B supplies are delivered from unpressurized storage containers. In use, a continuous stream of high velocity air moves through the static mixing nozzle, and the material streams may be intermittently moved into the nozzle and aerated with an air supply to cause the A and B materials to be mixed with each other and moved with the air to form the plural component materials. The plural component materials are delivered from a static mixing nozzle at pressures of less than 300 psi. Spray guns configured for preparing the plural component materials are also disclosed. Polyurethane foams, polyurethane adhesives, and polyurea coatings prepared by the methods are further provided.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a mineral fibre thermal insulation product comprises the sequential steps of:
Forming mineral fibres from a molten mineral mixture;
Spraying a substantially formaldehyde free binder solution on to the mineral fibres, the binder solution comprising: a reducing sugar, an acid precursor derivable from an inorganic salt and a source of nitrogen;
Collecting the mineral fibres to which the binder solution has been applied to form a batt of mineral fibres; and
Curing the batt comprising the mineral fibres and the binder which is in contact with the mineral fibres by passing the batt through a curing oven so as to provide a batt of mineral fibres held together by a substantially water insoluble cured binder.
