摘要： Described herein is a wall assembly for use in walls of energy efficient residential or commercial buildings which can provide improved thermal resistance, moisture resistance and structural capacity. The wall assembly includes a frame assembly, an outer fiberboard, and a closed cell foam layer. The fiberboard is laminated with a lamination such as a non-perforated, non-woven polyolefin permeable membrane. The closed cell foam layer couples the frame assembly and the outer fiberboard. Also described herein is a method of manufacturing the wall assembly.

The panels are made of lignocellulosic material. The water resistant and skid resistant surface may include indicia for aligning strips of tape or for aligning fasteners. A method for manufacturing the water resistant building panels is also disclosed and includes the steps of feeding paper onto a forming belt, depositing lignocellulosic material and the binding agent onto the forming belt so as to form a lignocellulosic mat, applying heat and pressure so as to impart the skid resistant surface on the paper, and cutting panels to predetermined sizes.

摘要： A drainage-promoting wrap for a building structure includes a weather-resistive membrane having a face with a series of separate, spaced-apart, spacer elements bonded thereto and projecting therefrom to a first predetermined height and an embossed membrane having embossments projecting from a face thereof to a second predetermined height. The weather-resistive membrane and embossed membrane are bonded together to form a double-sided drainage promoting wrap such that the spacer elements project from a first face of the wrap and the embossments project from an opposite face of the wrap. The first predetermined height may be greater than the second predetermined height. Wall and roof assemblies and a method of producing a wrap are also provided.

摘要： A laminated building sheathing comprises a rigid foam board and a facer. The rigid foam board comprises a drainage pattern formed on a major surface of the foam board. The drainage pattern comprises a drainage channel. The facer is configured to cover the major surface of the rigid form board and to essentially conform to the drainage pattern. The facer is semi-permanently bonded to the drainage channel but permanently bonded to non-channel planar portions of the major surface.
