Abstract: An acid fracturing hose and a preparation method thereof, wherein, the acid fracturing hose includes an inner liner layer, an inner rubber layer, a first buffer layer, a reinforcing layer, a second buffer layer and an outer rubber layer from inside to out in sequence; wherein the inner liner layer is at least one layer of UHMWPE film, the reinforcing layer includes middle rubber layers and steel wire layers that are arranged at intervals, the inner rubber layer and the outer rubber layer are synthetic rubber, and the first buffer layer, the middle rubber layers and the second buffer layer are kiss-coating cord fabrics. The UHMWPE film is used as an inner liner layer, which can be integrated with an inner rubber layer and an outer rubber layer through a high temperature vulcanization process, and the inner liner layer is taken as an inner wall of the hose.

Abstract: A hose including an inner tube, a reinforcement layer disposed outwardly from the inner tube, and a cover layer disposed outwardly from the reinforcement layer, in which the hose meets requirements of NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 standard, and in some aspects, at least the inner tube is devoid of nitrosamines. In some cases, the inner tube includes ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. In some other aspects, the inner tube includes other thermoplastic material. In some cases, the cover layer is based on a rubber material. Also, the hose may contain water within a lumen defined inside the inner walls of the inner tube.

Abstract: A display module includes a display panel including a main body region, a first bendable region, a second bendable region and a back region, a buffer layer and a stress relief portion. The first bendable region and the second bendable region are both bent toward the back side of the display panel, and the back region is bent to be disposed opposite to the first bendable region. The buffer layer includes a first buffer portion corresponding to the main body region and a second buffer portion corresponding to the first bendable region, and an elastic modulus of the second buffer portion is less than that of the first buffer portion. The stress relief portion is configured to absorb and release a stress generated during a bending process of the second bendable region of the display panel.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides, as a sleeper pad for railroad sleepers in which a nonwoven fabric is attached to a rubber pad by a thermal fusion process, a nonwoven fabric-integrated sleeper pad using a rubber pad embedded with a stiffener and methods of manufacturing and constructing the same, which can adjust vertical support stiffness of the rubber pad by the stiffener embedded in the middle of the rubber pad and which can secure the flatness of the rubber pad by resisting bending deformation due to a difference in shrinkage between rubber and nonwoven fabric.

Abstract: A multilayer sheet comprising first, second, and third layers is provided. The first layer consists of a co-polyester having an elongation at break of greater than 70%. The second layer consists of a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer having an elongation at break of greater than 200% and a hardness of about 60 A to about 85 D. The first layer has a hardness greater than the hardness of the second layer. A mold is provided and the multilayer sheet is thermoformed over the mold to form a plurality of tooth-receiving cavities configured to receive and position a patient's teeth from a first arrangement toward a second arrangement. Excess material is trimmed from the thermoformed multilayer sheet to form the multilayer dental aligner.

Abstract: An ambidextrous or hand-specific glove including a wrist region, palm region, and at least one digit region having a fingertip region and a remaining portion. A part of a 360° perimeter of the fingertip region is reduced in length relative to the perimeter of the remaining portion of that digit region. The reduced circumference fingertip region is configured to be smaller than the tip of a user's finger or thumb when inserted into the glove. The reduction in the circumference of the fingertip region may include reducing an arcuate length of a pair of opposed sections of the fingertip region. The opposed sections may be sections of the front and rear surfaces of the digit region or opposed sections of the first side surface and second side surface of the digit region.

Abstract: A method of making an electrically-conductive film is provided. The method includes providing a release layer, optionally having a topologically structured surface, and depositing at least one electrically-conductive layer on the release layer whereby the at least one electrically-conductive layer has an outer surface that substantially replicates the topologically structured surface. The electrically-conductive layer can be peeled away from the release layer to obtain the electrically-conductive film. Such electrically-conductive films can be useful in lightning strike applications.
