According to another embodiment of the present disclosure, a method for manufacturing a disposable glove includes: coating a functional material formulation on a portion of a hand mold; drying the functional material formulation partially or completely to form a functional coating layer on the hand mold; coating the hand mold having the functional coating layer thereon with a glove body formulation; drying the glove body formulation to form a dried glove body; and removing the dried glove body from the hand mold so that the glove body is flipped inside out to form the disposable glove with the functional coating layer integrated with the glove body.

    摘要: A system and method for identifying areas of a processing plant in which a glove is damaged. The system includes utilizing color-coded sets of gloves in different areas or processing steps within the plant. All the gloves used in a particular plant are provided with a unique identifier. If a piece of a glove is located in the product within the plant, the color of that piece indicates the area or process of the plant in which the glove was used. If a piece of a damaged glove is located in the product at a remote destination, the unique identifier in that piece is matched with a registry to determine the plant in which the glove was used. The color of the piece then helps the plant to identify where the damaged glove was used. The system and method are particularly helpful in the food processing industry, especially meat processing.

    摘要: An ambidextrous or hand-specific glove including a wrist region, a palm region, and a digit region. The glove may be fabricated of nitrile rubber that is free of or essentially free of zinc, sulfur and accelerators to reduce allergic reactions in populations required to frequently wear protective gloves. A band region that partially or fully encircles a user's finger knuckles may be provided for easier finger bending. Texturing may be provided on glove surfaces that are used to grip articles. The tip regions on the front surface of the index and middle finger regions may be un-textured or smooth to enable a user to take a patient's pulse. These tip regions may be of reduced diameter and circumference so as to pull the glove material tightly around the tips of the user's finger so that even a faint pulse in a patient may be detected.

    摘要: Disclosed is a carboxylic acid-modified nitrile-based copolymer latex composition, including 0.1-10 parts by weight of a reactive emulsifier based on 100 parts by weight of a monomer mixture, wherein the monomer mixture includes 40-88 wt % of a conjugated diene-based monomer, 10-50 wt % of an ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer and 0.1-10 wt % of an ethylenically unsaturated acid monomer. Also disclosed are a method of preparing the carboxylic acid-modified nitrile-based copolymer latex composition and a latex composition for dip molding including the same. The carboxylic acid-modified nitrile-based copolymer latex composition reduces generation of foam through the use of a reactive emulsifier different from the conventional adsorption/desorption type emulsifier, thereby preventing degradation of the quality of latex caused by foam. In addition, the carboxylic acid-modified nitrile-based copolymer latex composition avoids a need for introducing a defoaming agent for removing foam or maturation process.
