摘要: An aluminum crosslinking agent for dip molding has a sufficient stability enabling use in mass production of gloves and the like, and makes it possible to provide a molded body obtained using the aluminum crosslinking agent, which has sufficient tensile strength and fatigue durability and is soft and elongating; a dip molding composition gloves, and a method for producing gloves are provided. These are an aluminum crosslinking agent for dip molding, including a polynuclear aluminum lactate compound, which has a polynuclear aluminum structure and at least one lactic acid residue. The polynuclear aluminum structure has a structure where a plurality of aluminum atoms are polymerized through one oxygen atom, and has a degree of polymerization of 2 to 20, and lactic acid residues or hydroxyl groups are bonded to remaining valences of the aluminum atom.

摘要: A multi-chamber balloon for a nuclear implant has an elastomeric membrane defining inner and outer chambers integral with a valve body. The valve body includes a core portion and sealing membrane for sealing the inner and outer chambers. An assembly for manufacturing the multi-chamber balloon includes a balloon mandrel which may be dip coated in a silicone dispersion to create an elastomeric membrane for the inner and outer chambers integral with the valve body. The elastomeric membrane formed on the mandrel is partially inverted to form a coaxial elastomeric structure with the smaller inner chamber disposed within the larger outer chamber. The valve is incorporated into the inner and outer chambers to form a unitary structure.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method of preparing reduced graphene oxide, incorporation of the reduced graphene oxide into polyisoprene latex to provide a polyisoprene latex graphene composite and elastomeric articles prepared using the polyisoprene latex-graphene composite. In particular, the reduction of graphene oxide is accomplished without the use of strong reducing agents and organic solvents and incorporation of the reduced graphene oxide into polyisoprene latex is accomplished using room temperature latex mixing method or hot maturation. The resultant composite exhibits good colloid stability and polyisoprene latex films produced from the composite exhibit good mechanical properties with improved ageing resistance.

摘要: A former holder with a quick-release mechanism for use in latex glove dipping process. A locking mechanism between the former and the holder is provided for enhancing efficiency and performance of the latex glove dipping process. One of the advantages of a former holder with a quick-release mechanism for use in latex glove dipping processes is that the former can be easily removed and replaced from the holder without disruption of the glove manufacturing operation. Furthermore, the attachment between the former and holder is a centralized position which reduces dislodged problems due to vibration, misalignment of the former when passing the stripping machine and avoids an uneven dipping process in a latex dipping tank and a coagulant dipping tank. In addition, the holder with the quick-release mechanism can be easily fitted to an automatic former replacement machine to reduce manpower and safety during replacement.

In this dip molding composition, the elastomer contains 50% by weight or more, 78% by weight or less of a conjugated diene monomer-derived structural unit, 17% by weight or more, 35% by weight or less of an ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer-derived structural unit, 2.0% by weight or more, 8.0% by weight or less of an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer-derived structural unit, and 0.5% by weight or more, 5.0% by weight or less of an amide group-containing monomer-derived structural unit, and has an MEK-insoluble content of 50% by weight or more, 80% by weight or less.

摘要: A multi-layered multifunctional polymeric latex article is provided. A first polymeric latex layer, having nitrile butadiene, is resistant to chemical permeation whilst the second polymeric latex layer disposed on the first layer, being a composite layer of polychloroprene and Nano clay, is resistant to chemical degradation. The third layer disposed on the second layer is a polychloroprene layer having a unique micro-roughened surface texture pattern, providing an improved grip and friction in both wet and dry conditions. The second and third layers are disposed during the wet gelled stages of the first and second layers respectively. The gelled third layer is dipped in a solvent mixture whereby a chemical reaction causes the gelled surface of the third layer to texturize by swelling and fixing, creating a continuous and discontinuous wavy micro-roughened surface which is then cured causing formation of ionic crosslinks in the third polymeric layer.

The first lumen has a first inlet end to receive a first flow of breathing gas, a first outlet end to deliver the first flow, and a first bend between the first inlet end and the first outlet end. The second lumen has a second inlet end to receive a second flow of breathing gas, a second outlet end to deliver the second flow, and a second bend between the second inlet end and the second outlet end. The bridge separates the first lumen and the second lumen, attaches to the first lumen at the first bend and the second lumen at the second bend, and is configured to maintain the first flow of breathing gas separate from the second flow of breathing gas.

摘要: Provided is a dip molding composition including, at least: an elastomer that contains a (meth)acrylonitrile-derived structural unit, an unsaturated carboxylic acid-derived structural unit, and a butadiene-derived structural unit in a polymer main chain; an epoxy crosslinking agent; water; and a pH modifier, in which dip molding composition the elastomer contains the (meth)acrylonitrile-derived structural unit in an amount of 20 to 40% by weight, the unsaturated carboxylic acid-derived structural unit in an amount of 1 to 10% by weight, and the butadiene-derived structural unit in an amount of 50 to 75% by weight, and the epoxy crosslinking agent includes an epoxy crosslinking agent containing an epoxy compound having three or more epoxy groups in one molecule and has a dissolution rate in water of 10 to 70% as determined by a specific measurement method.
