摘要: Provided is a flame retardant and heat insulating sheet having high flame retardancy and a high heat insulating property. Also provided is a flame retardant heat insulator including such flame retardant and heat insulating sheet. A flame retardant and heat insulating sheet according to one embodiment includes: a flame retardant and heat insulating layer formed from a resin composition (A); and a heat insulating layer, wherein the resin composition (A) contains: a binder resin; a low-melting point inorganic substance; a high-melting point inorganic substance; and voids. A flame retardant and heat insulating sheet according to one embodiment includes: a flame retardant and heat insulating layer formed from a resin composition (B); and a heat insulating layer, wherein the resin composition (B) contains: a binder resin that produces a high-melting point inorganic substance when heated; a low-melting point inorganic substance; and voids and/or a void-forming agent.

摘要: An insulation or cushioning product including a first panel that may include a second layer having a second width and including one or more extension portions. The first panel may include a core layer having a first width less than the second width and including a first continuous paper sheet formed into a first plurality of flexible loops disposed on and attached to the second layer, and defining a first plurality of air channels that extend in a direction that is substantially perpendicular with a length direction of the first panel. The second layer may cover at least a portion of one or more edges of the core layer and covers at least a portion of a top or bottom surface of the core panel. The one or more extension portions may have an extension width greater than or equal to a thickness of the core layer.

摘要: A thermally-insulating sheet includes a thermal insulator which includes a fiber sheet made of fibers providing spaces among the fibers, a resin layer provided on a part of a surface of the fiber sheet, the first resin having a denser surface than the fiber sheet, and a silica xerogel held in the spaces of the fiber sheet. The thermally-insulating sheet further includes a protective sheet bonded onto the resin layer so as to cover the thermal insulator and to cover the surface of the fiber sheet. This thermally-insulating sheet hardly break even if having a large size.

The intermediate spacer fabric layer comprises a flexible honeycomb or octagonal shaped spacer fabric that has a plurality of cells defined therein. The protective fabric jacket also includes a settable material that disposed within the cells and includes a cementitious mixture and one or more organic polymers and is settable to a hardened material.

摘要: A method for forming a super-insulating material for a vacuum insulated structure for an appliance includes disposing hollow glass spheres within a rotating drum, wherein a plurality of interstitial spaces are defined between the hollow glass spheres. An anchor material is disposed within the rotating drum. The hollow glass spheres and the anchor material are rotated within the rotating drum, wherein the anchor material is mixed with the hollow glass spheres to partially occupy the interstitial spaces. A silica-based material is disposed within the rotating drum. The silica-based material is mixed with the anchor material and the hollow glass spheres to define a super-insulating material, wherein the silica-based material attaches to the anchor material and is entrapped within the interstitial spaces. The silica-based material and the anchor material occupy substantially all of an interstitial volume defined by the interstitial spaces.

摘要: Disclosed is a material with directional thermal conduction and thermal insulation and a preparation method thereof. The method includes: (1) dispersing a viscose-based carbon fiber in water and adding a phenolic resin and polyacrylamide sequentially to obtain a dispersion I; dispersing a high-thermal conduction carbon fiber in water and adding a phenolic resin and polyacrylamide sequentially to obtain a dispersion II; (2) dividing equally the dispersion I and the dispersion II into several parts, respectively, pouring each part of the dispersion I and each part of the dispersion II into a mold alternately until all the dispersion I and the dispersion II are poured, draining after each pouring of a part of the dispersion I or a part of the dispersion II to obtain a porous carbon fiber skeleton, and solidifying the skeleton to obtain a preform; (3) subjecting the preform to a heat treatment to obtain the material.

摘要: A thermal protection systems of a deployable aerodynamic decelerators includes a high temperature flexible insulation that utilizes a Flexible Gas Barrier (FGB) configured on an outside layer of a Hypersonic Inflatable Aerodynamic Decelerator-Thermal Protective System (HIAD F-TPS). The high temperature flexible insulation includes high temperature fibers and frits that melt upon exposure to elevated temperatures to prevent advection through the thickness of the high temperature flexible insulation. A coating may also be configured on an outside surface of the high temperature flexible insulation to also prevent advection. The frits may be configured through the thickness with different melting temperatures.

摘要: The present application relates to a thermal insulation felt with thermal shock resistance and a preparation method thereof. A thermal insulation felt with thermal shock resistance has a layered structure, and includes a glass fiber layer with filler and a thermal shock-resistant coating, in which the thermal shock-resistant coating is coated on one or two sides of the glass fiber layer with filler. The filler is hollow glass bead or aerogel SiO2. The thermal shock-resistant coating is obtained by coating a thermal shock-resistant coating material on one or two sides of the glass fiber layer with filler and then drying and solidifying. The thermal shock-resistant coating material, based on a weight percentage, includes 10-50% SiO2, 5-60% ZnO, 5-40% Al2O3, 5-15% poly tetra fluoroethylene, 5-35% silane coupling agent and 15-50% phosphate.

摘要: A machine for making insulation may include two or more rotatory members configured to pull a precut insulation product at a first rate, wherein the precut insulation product comprises a first paper layer, a second paper layer, and a continuous paper core sheet, a first restraint and a second restraint spaced apart a predetermined distance to create a first space therebetween, and two or more second rotary members configured to feed a continuous paper sheet at a second rate into the first space such that the continuous paper sheet forms a plurality of flexible loops defining a plurality of air channels that extend in a direction that is substantially perpendicular with a machine direction. The first rate may be slower than the second rate.
