    摘要: The present invention is a sterile peritoneal dialysis fluid, including an acidic first liquid containing 60.0 to 94.0 g/L of icodextrin and 0 to 2.34 g/L of sodium chloride, and an alkaline second liquid containing an alkaline pH regulator, in which the first liquid after sterilization has a pH of 5.0 to 5.5, the second liquid after sterilization has a pH of 6.5 to 7.5, and a mixture of the first liquid and the second liquid after sterilization has a pH of 6.0 to 7.5. The present invention can provide a peritoneal dialysis fluid containing icodextrin, in which the stability of icodextrin during the heat sterilization and the subsequent storage can be improved to the maximum, and the pH of the peritoneal dialysis fluid is close to the physiological range.

    摘要: Disclosed herein are methods for preparing modified starches, and uses thereof, and relates to the technical field of starch preparation; modifying a gelatinized starch suspension with β-amylase; after inactivating the β-amylase, further modifying with a branching enzyme, after inactivating the branching enzyme, further modifying with pullulanase, after inactivating the pullulanase, precipitating a resulting enzymatic hydrolysate with an alcohol to obtain precipitates; and drying the precipitates to obtain the modified starch. The methods disclosed a starch is modified remarkably, herein substantially increase the number of linear chains with a degree of polymerization DP6-11 in the starch chains and, thus, significantly increase the content of resistant starch in the modified starch—thereby facilitating the use in foods and medicaments.

    摘要: A nutritional composition that includes from about 75% to about 95% of a first protein source that includes from about 85% to about 99% of protein by weight of the first protein source to provide an endogenous source of tryptophan in an amount between about 1% to about 6% of tryptophan by weight of the first protein source; and from about 0.5% to about 2% of a second protein source by weight of the nutritional composition, the second protein source consisting of an exogenous source of tryptophan such that the nutritional composition provides a ratio of tryptophan to large neutral amino acids in the range from about 0.080:1 to about 0.167:1.
