摘要: Disclosed herein are compositions that comprise at least one oxidized polysaccharide derivative. Such an oxidized polysaccharide derivative can be produced by contacting a polysaccharide derivative under aqueous conditions with at least one agent that is capable of oxidizing the polysaccharide derivative. The polysaccharide derivative for oxidation has a degree of substitution (DoS) up to about 3.0 with at least one organic group. Further disclosed are methods of producing oxidized polysaccharide derivatives, as well as their use in various applications and products.

摘要: The present invention relates to a stabilized starch obtained by reacting under alkaline conditions a base starch having a protein content of less than 0.4% w/w with a reactant capable of forming active chlorine, wherein the reactant is used in an amount sufficient to provide between 4000 and 8200 ppm of active chlorine during the stabilization reaction.

摘要: A container and a preparation method thereof are provided. A material forming the container includes at least two types of oxidized nanocelluloses interlaced with each other, the at least two types of oxidized nanocelluloses being configured to have different degrees of expansion after absorbing moisture in a same environment. In a dry condition, the at least two types of oxidized nanocelluloses do not expand, so the structure of the container is relatively dense and the air permeability is poor, which can sufficiently maintain moisture of an article stored in the container. In case the article itself or other reasons cause high humidity, different oxidized nanocelluloses of the container expand after absorbing moisture, so that gaps between different oxidized nanocelluloses becomes larger, and the air permeability of the container becomes better, which can discharge excessive moisture, enabling the container to self-adjust the air permeability based on humidity.

摘要: A method for preparing an inhibited starch with improved warehouse storage stability is disclosed, wherein it comprises the steps of a) providing a slurry containing a native granular starch obtained from a starch containing raw material, b) adding at least one amino acid, or a combination of two or more of these, and at least one oxidant to the slurry with a view to inhibiting the granular starch, c) adding at least one organic acid or a bisulfite to the slurry with a view to eliminating residual reactant chemicals, off-tastes, and undesired smell, and d) adding at least one antioxidant to the slurry with a view to stabilizing the achieved inhibition of the starch during warehouse storage, as well as an inhibited starch with improved warehouse storage stability prepared with said method, use of said inhibited starch as an ingredient in a food product, and a food product containing said inhibited starch.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a modified hydroxyethyl starch carrying a heptonic acid residue on at least one of its termini is disclosed. Within this method, the following steps are carried out: a) dissolving hydroxyethyl starch in water, b) adjusting the pH value to a value of 8.0 to 10.0, c) adding a cyanide compound to the hydroxyethyl starch solution, heating the solution to a temperature of 80 to 99° C. and keeping it at this temperature for a first time period, and d) adjusting the pH value to a value of 2.0 to 4.0, bringing the solution to a temperature of 50 to 90° C. and keeping it at this temperature for a second time period.

摘要: A film that is biodegradable and water-sensitive (e.g., water-soluble, water-dispersible, etc.) in that it loses its integrity over time in the presence of water is provided. The film contains a biodegradable polyester, starch, water-soluble polymer, and plasticizer. The desired water-sensitive attributes of film may be achieved in the present invention by selectively controlling a variety of aspects of the film construction, such as the nature of the components employed, the relative amount of each component, the manner in which the film is formed, and so forth.
