摘要: An anxiolytic composition formulated for oral administration to a mammal includes a synergistic combination of L-theanine, at least one of magnolia and an extract of magnolia, and at least one of phellodendron and an extract of phellodendron. The composition may include a combination of an extract of Magnolia officinalis and a extract of Phellodendron amurense. The synergistic combination may provide an anxiolytic change in a release pattern of one or more brain neurotransmitters, such as glutamate and/or γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA).

摘要: A skin sensitivity improving agent which is safe and, when routinely taken or applied to the skin, exerts an effect of improving deterioration in peripheral sensation is provided. The present invention also provides a food, a drink, a feed or a cosmetic for improving sensation which exerts an effect of improving deterioration in peripheral sensation when orally taken or applied to the skin. The skin sensitivity improving agent includes, as the active ingredient, a basic protein fraction derived from milk or a degraded basic protein fraction derived from milk. By orally taking the basic protein fraction derived from milk or the degraded basic protein fraction derived from milk or applying the same directly to the skin, deterioration in sensation, in particular, peripheral sensation can be improved. Thus, a food, a drink, a feed or a cosmetic for improving sensation can be obtained.

摘要: The present invention provides a protein composition comprising a milk basic protein fraction; and at least one stabilizer selected from the group consisting of soybean polysaccharides, xanthan gum, pectin, gum arabic, gum ghatti, carrageenan, locust bean gum, sodium caseinate, lecithin, and carboxymethylcellulose. The protein composition significantly improves the heat resistance of the milk basic protein fraction. The present invention achieves heat treatment of a protein composition and food, beverage, feed, and pharmaceutical comprising such a protein composition at a temperature exceeding 90° C. without deactivation of the milk basic protein fraction.

摘要: Provided herein is a composition to reduce DNA and hepatic damage and to enhance repair thereof. More particularly the composition includes a combination of active ingredients which can be used in a beverage composition and also relates to a beverage composition including said synergistic composition of active ingredients, wherein each active ingredient in the combination composition and/or beverage composition in appropriate concentration synergistically reduces the DNA damage as well as hepatic damage due to alcohol consumption and/or due to other reasons. The composition also enhances repair of the DNA and hepatic which has already been damaged. The composition also synergistically reduces hangover, modulates and/or alleviates immunology parameters and CNS parameters due to alcohol consumption and due to other reasons. Further a beverage composition including above synergistic composition and method of preparation thereof is provided.
