摘要： A method and system delivers a cryogenically stored fuel in a gaseous state into the air intake system of a gaseous fuelled internal combustion engine. The method involves measuring the pressure in the vapor space of the cryogenic storage vessel, comparing the measured pressure to a required fuel supply pressure and supplying fuel in gaseous state directly from the vapor space of the cryogenic storage vessel to the fuel delivery line that supplies fuel to the engine, when the pressure measured in the vapor space of the cryogenic storage vessel is equal to or higher than the required fuel supply pressure. The method further involves activating a cryogenic pump to deliver fuel to the internal combustion engine from the liquid space of the cryogenic storage vessel when the measured pressure in the vapor space is lower than the required fuel supply pressure.

The second gas supply line is provided with a gas reservoir having an ullage space section and liquid phase section, and that the arrangement is provided with a first duct section of the second gas supply line connecting the liquid phase section of the cargo tank and the liquid phase section of the gas reservoir, and being provided with the pump, and that the arrangement is additionally provided with a return line connecting the liquid phase section of the reservoir and the cargo tank being provided with a control valve for controllable returning liquid gas back into the cargo tank.

摘要： An offshore liquefied natural gas structure may receive, store, and process liquefied natural gas from carriers. A structure may be a gravity base structure. A structure may include a system of ballast storage areas, transfer equipment to offload liquefied natural gas from a carrier, docking equipment to allow direct mooring with carriers, platforms to elevate equipment, water intake systems to provide water to the structure, wave deflectors, and/or projections extending from a bottom of the structure. A portion of the structure may be composed of lightweight concrete. Pipelines may be coupled to the structure to export processed natural gas onshore. Living quarters, flare towers, and export line metering equipment may be included on the structure.

摘要： A method for assisting the management of a vessel comprising at least one tank configured to contain liquefied gas and a vapor phase treatment system capable of sending boil-off gas exiting the tank to a propulsion engine of the vessel or to a gas combustion unit on board the vessel and capable of extracting a portion of the liquid phase contained in the tank and of evaporating this portion in order to send it to the propulsion engine. The method comprises: generating at least one tank management scenario defining an evolution of the pressure of the gas phase contained in the tank along a path of the vessel; computing a cost function that at least depends on a total amount of boil-off gas generated in the tank along the path; and displaying to a user the tank management scenario as a function of the computed cost function.

The visual indicator assembly comprises a rotatable handle member adapted for operative connection to the isolated stem control valve contained in the housing of the air tank. The rotatable handle member opens and closes the control valve without axial movement of the rotatable handle member. An “OFF” indicator is visible with the control valve in a closed condition, and an “ON” indicator is non-visible with the control valve in a closed condition. The “ON” indicator is movable to become visible and obscure the “OFF” indicator upon rotation of the handle member to adjust the control valve to an open condition.

摘要： A transport unit includes a plurality of permanent magnets arranged to provide a magnetic holding field for protecting hyperpolarized gas during storage and/or transport. The permanent magnets are configured in a relatively light weight manner to project a substantially cylindrical magnetic holding field or spherical holding field in space. The magnet arrangements can include primary magnets and field shaping secondary magnets which act to enlarge the region of homogeneity. The permanent magnet arrangement can also be provided with a cylindrical shaped flex sheet magnetically activated to provide the magnetic holding field. The permanent magnet arrangements do not require disassembly to insert or remove one or more containers of hyperpolarized gas in or out of the transport unit.
