Abstract: A motor vehicle includes a vehicle frame and a system that includes a first cryogenic container and an ancillary system including a first connecting line routed into the first cryogenic container. A shut-off valve is provided in the first connecting line and a check valve opening in the filling direction is connected in parallel to the shut-off valve by means of a branch line so that the first cryogenic container can be filled via a filling coupling when the shut-off valve is closed and can be vented via the filling coupling or via a vent coupling separate therefrom and connected to the first connecting line when the shut-off valve is open. The system includes a second cryogenic container with a second connection line and the ancillary system includes a single linkage line that connects the first and the second connecting lines.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for a combined defuel and priority panel for a fueling station. The defuel and priority panel is configured to defuel a compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicle and direct the defueled gas to fuel other CNG vehicles at the panel fueling and defueling site. The defuel and priority panel is also configured to store defueled gas in defuel storage tanks, which can then be used to later fuel CNG vehicles.

Abstract: A system and method for transporting and distributing hydrogen, reducing the risk of hydrogen leakage, maintaining a record of provenance, and measuring and recording its purity level as it flows from source to destination to assure it complies with a predetermined range of values. The system includes a hydrogen delivery line made from metallic or non-metallic pipe that may be placed inside a safety pipe such that a channel is formed between an exterior of the hydrogen delivery line and an interior of the safety pipe. A sweeper gas or liquid may be injected into the channel to purge any hydrogen that might escape from the hydrogen delivery line, and one or more sensors may be used to detect and avoid the presence of an unacceptable level of hydrogen, or to stop the flow of hydrogen and remediate the problem well before a safety or environmental risk can occur.

Method for adsorptive storage of natural gas, methane in the complex for land adsorptive storage of natural gas includes offtake of natural gas from a gas source, its treatment including purification from solid inclusions and foreign admixtures, and treatment of microporous adsorbent in the high-pressure tank of the land gas adsorptive storage module, further filling of the gas storage unit with purified gas directly from the gas source through the natural gas treatment unit until the gas source pressure is achieved, and then, through the natural gas compression unit, until the gas storage pressure of 3-10 MPa is achieved.
