The portion has at least one outer enclosure, at least one inner element that is located in the outer enclosure and carries the hydrogen, and at least one interior zone located between the inner element and the outer enclosure, the hydrogen supplying device comprising at least one ventilation system configured to vent gases present in the interior zone toward the outer zone of the secondary structure.

摘要: Provided is a pressure vessel capable of adapting a release direction of gas in the pressure vessel (i.e., release-permitted direction) and a direction in which the gas in the pressure vessel should not be released (i.e., release-restricted direction) to an attitude of a vehicle or a surrounding environment. A release direction control unit is configured to variably change, with respect to the pressure vessel, a release direction of gas as a pressure relief valve opens, and without depending on an attitude of the pressure vessel, release the gas stored in the pressure vessel as the pressure relief valve opens (only) in the release-permitted direction set in advance with respect to a gravity direction, not in the release-restricted direction set in advance with respect to the gravity direction.

摘要: An apparatus and process for dispensing a cryogenic fluid can include an apparatus and process configured for dispensing the cryogenic fluid into a fuel tank. Embodiments can be configured for dispensing of liquid hydrogen into fuel tanks of vehicles, for example. Embodiments can be provided so no pump usage is necessary for filing the fuel tank or substantially filling the fuel tank (e.g., filling the fuel tank to a level of 90% filled or a level of 95% filled, etc.) during the dispensing. This can permit embodiments to avoid cryogenic boil off and fugitive emission losses as well as reducing power consumption, reducing maintenance costs, and permitting dispensing start-up to occur more quickly.

The pressure release feature is disposed through each of the primary container dome, the insulation portion, and the secondary container dome.
