摘要: A method of operating safety mechanism includes extending a safety pin to block a poppet from opening a flow path from a pressure vessel in the event of the pressure vessel being unmounted from a bracket or in the event of the bracket being unmounted from a support structure. The method includes retracting the safety pin to allow free movement of the poppet for opening the flow path only in the event of the pressure vessel being mounted to the bracket and the bracket being mounted to a support structure.

摘要: This invention describes a novel design and construction method for a Collapsible Cryogenic Storage Vessel that can be used for storing cryogenic liquids. The vessel provides the ability to be packed for transport in a compact state and erected at the point of use. The vessel can be used multiple times. The vessel's volume can also be adjusted during use to minimize or eliminate head space in the vessel.

摘要: A structure of a horizontal type cylindrical double-shell tank mounted on a ship includes: an inner shell storing liquefied gas; and an outer shell forming a vacuum space between the inner shell and the outer shell. A pair of support units supporting the inner shell is disposed between the inner shell and the outer shell. Each support unit includes: a plurality of cylindrical elements arranged in a circumferential direction of the tank such that an axial direction of each of the cylindrical elements coincides with a radial direction of the tank; a plurality of inner members each holding an end portion of a corresponding one of the cylindrical elements at the inner shell side; and a plurality of outer members each holding an end portion of a corresponding one of the cylindrical elements at the outer shell side. Each of the cylindrical elements is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic.

The width of the outer portion (120) is greater than the width of the inner portion (140). A primary seam (250) binds the outer portion and the inner portion to the material sheet at the midline proximate the outer portion edge and inner portion edge. The sheet (100) is wrapped into a continuous substantially 720 degree wrap to form a generally cylindrical vessel body having possible multiple fluid passageways, at the election of the user. The primary seam (250) is concealed.

摘要: A disposable compressed gas container having a cylindrical body with an annular collar projecting above the top and an annular skirt depending from the bottom. The collar and skirt are so dimensioned that the collar of one container nests in complementary disposition with respect to the skirt of a second container longitudinally stacked therewith. Latching means are provided to interlock the nested collar and skirt together, and plurality of axially stacked pair of coupled containers are adapted to be strapped about the girth of the waists defined by the nested collars and skirts.
