摘要: A storage tank includes a tank roof and a tank sidewall. At least one opening is located in at least one of the tank roof or the tank sidewall. A pipe extends through the at least one opening, the pipe having a sleeve assembly positioned around the pipe. The sleeve assembly also extends through the opening. The sleeve assembly includes a sleeve, at least one layer of insulation, and an inner flange. The inner flange is located on a first end of the sleeve and is coupled to the pipe. The sleeve, in turn is coupled to the tank such that the inner flange is located within the storage tank. The at least one layer of insulation is positioned in an annulus between the pipe and the sleeve.

摘要: Disclosed herein is an energy efficient vertical cryogenic tank, which comprises a tank body with a vacuum insulation interlayer, wherein the tank body comprises a transmission means including an air return pipe and a liquid outlet pipe, and positioning means including supporting legs provided at the bottom of the tank body, and a built-in saturation adjustment mechanism formed by a heat exchanger connected to an let of the air return pipe and a return air dispersing device. By using a saturation adjustment mechanism at the inlet of the air return pipe, the cryogenic storage tank can not only fully leverage the gasification gas produced at the pump, but also achieve the saturation function of the LNG in the tank, with such benefits as reduced energy loss, simplified tank interface settings, improved efficiency of saturation adjustment, and avoided pump cavitation.

摘要: A Compressed Air Breathing Apparatus (CABA) or Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) is routinely used in environments when there is no breathable air and in emergency situations. However, CABA/SCBA tanks have limited capacity to hold compressed air, and BA filling stations are required in environments in which it may be necessary to refill the CABA/SCBA tanks during an emergency situation. Disclosed is a BA filling station system with a back-up air supply and remote activation. Two or more filling stations are interconnected by one or more air supply lines to provide a flow of compressed air between the filling stations, and one or more remote activation lines to control the flow. Advantageously, the system provides redundancy between the remotely located BA filling stations and substantially improves safety by making available a back-up source of an air supply from another interconnected filling station.

摘要: A flow control valve includes a housing defining a cavity therein. The housing has an input port for receiving a gas from a gas supply, and an output port for delivering the gas to a gas cylinder. The cavity defines a staging area fluidly connected to the input port, a delivery area fluidly connected to the output port, and a pressurization area fluidly connected to a feedback sensing port. The feedback sensing port is configured to receive pressurized fluid that is pressurized to a pressure level representative of a pressure level of gas delivered to the gas cylinder. The flow control valve includes a piston slidably positioned in a channel extending between the pressurization area and the delivery area. The position of the piston changes a rate of flow of gas through the flow control valve. The piston position moves in response to a pressure at the feedback sensing port.

摘要: Disclosed is a liquefied natural gas storage apparatus. The apparatus includes a heat insulated tank and liquefied natural gas contained in the tank. The tank has heat insulation sufficient to maintain liquefied natural gas therein such that most of the liquefied natural gas stays in liquid. The contained liquefied natural gas has a vapor pressure from about 0.3 bar to about 2 bar. The apparatus further includes a safety valve configured to release a part of liquefied natural gas contained in the tank when a vapor pressure of liquefied natural gas within the tank becomes higher than a cut-off pressure. The cut-off pressure is from about 0.3 bar to about 2 bar.
