    摘要: A flame retardant polymeric foam material and its manufacturing method are provided. The flame retardant polymeric foam material comprises a polymeric foam, and an organic flame retardant coating on the surface of the polymeric foam which is obtained by spraying, coating or by impregnating after the organic flame retardant melts. The present invention selects those types of flame retardants which are very effective in improving the flame retardancy of the polymeric foams; especially those effective for extruded polystyrene foams, and provides a simple and feasible approach to obtain polymeric foams with excellent flame retardant property. The methods can effectively increase the amount of the flame retardants added without affecting foaminess of the foam products and reducing strength or insulation properties of polymeric foams. Different flame retardancy requirements can be satisfied by simply varying the amount of the flame retardants coated on the polymeric foam surface.

    摘要: The present invention provides a heat dissipating member having excellent heat dissipation properties and suitable for use in an oil environment. The present invention is a heat dissipating member including: a porous base material containing a fluorine resin and a thermally-conductive filler; and an oil contained in pores of the porous base material. The fluorine resin contains polytetrafluoroethylene. The heat dissipating member can be produced, for example, by a method including the steps of: (1) stacking and rolling together a plurality of sheet-shaped formed bodies each containing a polytetrafluoroethylene-containing fluorine resin, a thermally-conductive filler, and a molding aid, so as to obtain a rolled laminated sheet; (2) removing the molding aid from the obtained rolled laminated sheet to obtain a porous base material; and (3) impregnating the obtained porous base material with an oil.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is an expandable polystyrene bead having improved adiabaticity and flame-retardance and a method of producing the expandable polystyrene bead. The expandable polystyrene bead comprises 10 to 60 wt % of a flame retardant which is made of one or more selected from among metal or nonmetal oxides, metal or nonmetal hydroxides, silicates, borates and carbonates, having a particle size of 150 μm. Expanded polystyrene foam having improved adiabaticity and flame-retardance can be obtained using the expandable polystyrene bead. A thin flame-retardant thermal insulator including the expanded polystyrene foam can be widely used in various fire-related fields.
