摘要： A process for producing foam particles from expanded thermoplastic elastomer involves (a) mixing a thermoplastic elastomer melt with a blowing agent in an extruder; (b) pressing the thermoplastic elastomer melt mixed with the blowing agent through a die plate into a pelletizing chamber; and (c) comminuting the thermoplastic elastomer melt pressed through the die plate into individual pellets. A liquid flows through the pelletizing chamber, and the pressure and temperature of the liquid are chosen such that the pellets are expanded to a desired degree in the liquid by the blowing agent and solidify to form foam particles. Additionally, the liquid in the pelletizing chamber contains wax which accumulates on the surface of the pellet during the cutting and expansion in the pelletizing chamber; and/or after separation from the liquid and drying of the foam particles, a wax is applied to the foam particles of expanded thermoplastic elastomer.

摘要： A polypropylene-based resin expanded beads configured to include an NOR type hindered amine and has a surface on which a thermoplastic polymer layer is located, in which a blending ratio of the amine in the expanded beads is 0.03 wt % or more and 0.5 wt % or less, and a blending ratio of the amine in the thermoplastic polymer layer is less than the blending ratio of the amine in the expanded beads. Further, the method for producing the expanded beads includes a covering and foaming step, in which in the resin beads to be obtained in the covering step, a blending ratio of the amine in the resin beads is adjusted to be 0.03 wt % or more and 0.5 wt % or less, and a blending ratio of the amine in a thermoplastic polymer layer is adjusted to be lower than the blending ratio of the amine in the resin beads.

摘要： A method for producing a foamed body includes: forming a foamed layer precursor including applying a coating liquid onto a base to form a liquid film and applying an ink onto the liquid film by an inkjet method, where the coating liquid contains a foaming agent and an active energy ray curable material having a radical-polymerizable functional group, the active energy ray curable material contains a multifunctional active energy ray curable material having two or more radical-polymerizable functional groups, and the ink contains a foaming accelerator having a radical-polymerizable functional group; and foaming a desired position of the foamed layer precursor by heating to form a foamed layer. A functional group equivalent of the radical-polymerizable functional group in the foaming accelerator is greater than a functional group equivalent of the radical-polymerizable functional group in the active energy ray curable material.

摘要： An expanded bead having a through hole and including a foamed core layer which defines the through hole therein and which is constituted of a resin composition containing two kinds of polypropylene-based resins having different melting points, and a cover layer covering the foamed core layer and constituted of a polyolefin-based resin. The expanded bead gives a DSC curve in which an endothermic peak intrinsic to the resin composition and another endothermic peak on a higher temperature side thereof appear in a specific heat of fusion ratio. Molded articles include a multiplicity of the expanded beads.
