摘要: Provided are a method for producing pellets that are easy to be uniformly molded at the time of using the pellet for molding even when the pellets include a large amount of inorganic substance particles, the pellets, and a method for molding a resin molded article. The method for producing pellets according to the present invention includes a method for producing pellets formed from a resin composition including a crystalline macromolecule and an inorganic fine powder or organic fine powder in a mass ratio of 50:50 to 20:80, the method including the step of kneading the crystalline macromolecule and the inorganic fine powder or the organic fine powder so that the microcrystalline size of the crystalline macromolecule is 190 Å or smaller. The pellets according to the present invention are pellets formed from a resin composition including a crystalline macromolecule having a microcrystalline size of 190 Å or smaller, and inorganic substance particles in a mass ratio of 50:50 to 20:80.

摘要: In a method producing a molded article of a composite resin containing base resin and fibers, the composite resin containing a fibrous filler in the base resin and the fibrous filler including natural fibers with a fibrillated part on each end of the fibrous filler in a fiber length direction, the base resin and the fibrous filler are charged into a melt-kneading device. The base resin is melted and the molten base resin and the fibrous filler are kneaded in the melt-kneading device, thereby fibrillating only the ends of the fibrous filler. The obtained composite resin is discharged from the melt-kneading device and formed into a pellet shape, with the molded article of the composite resin produced by molding the pellets.

摘要: A method of forming a fiber-reinforced molding compound. The method includes establishing a melt stream of a source material including a first polymeric material having a first melt temperature in an extruder and dosing a composite material into the melt stream. The composite material includes pre-impregnated reinforcing fibers comprising reinforcing filaments and a second polymeric material having a second melt temperature greater than the first melt temperature. The composite material has at least 30% of the reinforcing filaments protected by the polymeric material such that the polymeric material surrounds each filament completely forming a barrier between it and an adjacent filament in the at least 30% of the filaments. The temperature of the melt stream at dosing is below the second melt temperature. The method includes forming a molding compound from the source and composite materials. The method includes dispensing the molding compound to produce a part.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to a process for producing thermoplastic polyolefin roofing membrane. The process includes directly adding components of a high-load flame retardant TPO formulation to a counter-rotating twin screw extruder. The process includes extruding the formulation with counter-rotation of the twin screws and forming a TPO roofing membrane having a tensile strength of greater than 10 MPa and a flame retardance of rating of classification D as measured in accordance with EN ISO 1 1925-2, surface exposure test.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method for making thermoplastic vulcanizates comprising dynamically vulcanizing an elastomer in an extrusion reactor with a curative in the presence of a thermoplastic resin to form a thermoplastic vulcanizate. Process oil is added to the extrusion reactor at a first, second, and third location, where the amount of process oil introduced at the first oil injection location is less than that introduced at the second oil injection location, where the third oil injection location is downstream of where the curative is introduced to the extrusion reactor, and where the thermoplastic vulcanizate comprises at least 25 wt % of oil based on the weight of the thermoplastic vulcanizate.
