摘要: A monolayer membrane containing gelling polymer particles having at least one of a basic functional group and an acidic functional group, and having a thickness of less than 5 μm. A composite having a porous carrier and gelling polymer particles having at least any one of a basic functional group and an acidic functional group and filling up the surface pores of the porous carrier. The invention can provide a novel material capable of efficiently separating an acid gas from a mixed gas.

摘要: A composite polyamide reverse osmosis membrane comprising a polyamide layer; where the polyamide layer has a thickness in the range of 50-250 nm, and large open spaces (i.e., free volumes); where the open spaces are defined by a ratio of water flux, Jw, (gfd) divided by the average surface roughness, Ra, (nm) of the polyamide layer; wherein the composite polyamide reverse osmosis membrane has the ratio of Jw/Ra>0.35 gfd/nm when tested at 65 psi, using an aqueous solution containing 250 ppm of NaCl; and a microporous support with a thickness ranging from 100-150 μm. The present invention also relates to processes of fabricating the composite polyamide reverse osmosis membrane.

摘要: A semipermeable composite membrane that reduces an environmental load, and a method of producing the semipermeable composite membrane. A semipermeable composite membrane includes, on a porous support, a semipermeable membrane containing a crosslinked polyamide and a cellulose nanofiber. A method of producing the semipermeable composite membrane includes obtaining a mixed solution containing the cellulose nanofiber, water, and an amine component, and obtaining the semipermeable composite membrane by making the mixed solution be in contact with the porous support, thereafter, causing a cross-linking reaction of the amine component in the mixed solution, with the amine component adhering to the porous support.

More specifically, the articles include a solid polymeric substrate with a plurality of thiocarbonylthio-containing groups covalently attached directly to a carbon atom in a polymeric backbone of the solid polymeric substrate. Methods of making the articles with covalently attached thiocarbonylthio-containing are provided. Additionally, methods of using these articles to generate further articles with covalently attached polymeric chains are provided.

The membrane includes a porous cellulose layer, a polyamide thin film layer bonded to the porous cellulose layer, and a fabric support layer that supports the porous cellulose layer and the polyamide thin film layer. The porous cellulose layer has a pore size of about 30 nm to about 500 nm at an exposed surface of the porous cellulose layer.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for the production of a porous polymer membrane suitable for liquid filtration or analyte capture, comprising the steps of: providing a flowable composition (100) on a substrate (220) the composition including at least: photo-activatable monomer molecules, photo activation initiator molecules and photo-activation quencher molecules; providing one or more pulses (L) of laser light at at least one focal point in the composition of sufficient energy to locally polymerise the composition; moving the or each focal point relative to the previously polymerised composition in a continuous or stepwise predetermined manner to a multiplicity of further positions; and repeating the pulse(s) at those further positions such that a three dimensional matrix of the composition is polymerised leaving unpolymerized areas of a size equivalent to conventional polymer membrane pores.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a polyether block polyamide/polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) composite membrane for gas separation, and a preparation method and use thereof, and belongs to the technical field of membrane separation. In the present disclosure, an amphoteric copolymer PDMS-polyethylene oxide (PEO) (PDMS-b-PEO) is introduced into an intermediate layer to adjust the interfacial binding performance, thereby promoting preparation of an ultra-thin polyether block polyamide composite membrane. Studies have shown that the surface enrichment of PEO segments not only inhibits a dense SiOx layer formed due to a plasma treatment of a PDMS intermediate layer, but also provides additional hydrophilic sites and interfacial compatibility for the subsequent selective layer. The use of PDMS-b-PEO in an intermediate layer allows the successful preparation of a selective layer with a thickness of about 50 nm.
