摘要: A pattern forming material according to an embodiment is a pattern forming material comprising a polymer composed of a plurality of monomer units bonded to each other. Each of the monomer units includes an ester structure having a first carbonyl group and at least one second carbonyl group bonded to the ester structure. A second carbonyl group farthest from a main chain of the polymer constituting the pattern forming material among second carbonyl groups is in a linear chain state.

摘要: Emulsion polymers and coating compositions made therefrom that exhibit exceptional roller stability and stain resistance to both hydrophilic and hydrophobic stains, without sacrificing scrub resistance. The emulsion polymers include, as polymerized units formed at a pH between 3 and 9: a) at least one nonionic or anionic unsaturated monomer in an amount ranging between about 78 wt. % to less than 100 wt. % based on the overall weight of the polymer composition b) one or more strong acid monomer in an amount ranging from about 0.01 wt. % to 2 wt. % based on the overall weight of the polymer composition; and c) at least one lower alkyl acrylate monomer in an amount ranging between about 1 wt. % to 20 wt. % based on the overall weight of the polymer composition.

摘要: A toner production method including: a melt-kneading step of melt-kneading a resin composition including a binder resin, a colorant, a wax, and a wax dispersant to obtain a melt-kneaded product; and a pulverizing step of pulverizing the melt-kneaded product. Where the temperature of the melt-kneaded product at the end of the melt-kneading step is Tk(° C.), and the softening point of the wax dispersant is Tm(° C.), the relationship of −18≦[Tk−Tm]≦10 is satisfied. The wax dispersant is a polymer in which a styrene acrylic polymer is graft-polymerized to a polyolefin. The styrene acrylic polymer has a monomer unit derived from α-methylstyrene and a monomer unit derived from a cycloalkyl (meth)acrylate.

摘要: A method of forming a coating on a food or beverage container, which includes spraying a coating composition onto an interior surface of the food or beverage container, where the coating composition includes an emulsion-polymerized latex copolymer having copolymer chains of one or more ethylenically-unsaturated monomers and one or more styrene offset monomers. Preferably, the coating composition is substantially free of BPA, PVC, and styrene. The method may also include curing the sprayed coating composition, thereby providing the coating on the interior surface of the food or beverage container.

摘要: Polymer obtainable by radical emulsion polymerization of (A) at least one acidic vinyl monomer or salt thereof; (B) at least one nonionic vinyl monomer, particularly preferably a hydrophobic nonionic vinyl monomer; (C) at least one monomer containing an unsaturated end group and a polyoxyalkylene part; (D) at least one crosslinking monomer; and (E) optionally, a protective colloid, characterized in that the polymerization is controlled such that (F) the gel effect occurs, at least at times, achieved by adding monomers of type (A), (B), and (C) (dosing time) during 120 minutes; and such that (G) the crosslinking monomer (D) is added, at the very earliest, 10 minutes after the first addition of the monomers (A), (B), and (C).
