摘要: A method of forming a particle includes, in a disperse phase within an aqueous suspension, polymerizing a plurality of mer units of a hydrophilic monomer having a hydrophobic protection group, thereby forming a polymeric particle including a plurality of the hydrophobic protection groups. The method further includes converting the polymeric particle to a hydrophilic particle.

(V) Each asterisk (*) indicates an attachment position to another monomeric unit; R is hydrogen or methyl; each R2 is each independently an alkyl, aryl, or a combination thereof; L is a linking group comprising an alkylene group; and +R3 is a cationic nitrogen-containing group free of any N—H bonds. Membranes formed from said cationic polymers, devices including such membranes, and methods of making such cationic polymers are also provided.

摘要: The present invention relates to a rubber composition having excellent tensile properties and viscoelasticity properties and including a conjugated diene-based polymer. The rubber composition may include a modified conjugated diene-based polymer which is selected considering target tensile properties and viscoelasticity properties, by predicting in advance the correlation between the modification ratio of the modified conjugated diene-based polymer and the dynamic viscoelasticity loss coefficient at 60° C. of the rubber composition through Mathematical Formula 1 and Mathematical Formula 2. Therefore, excellent compounding properties may be shown.

摘要: A method of preparing a flame retardant grafted polyolefin resin is provided. The method includes a step of reacting in an extrusion barrel a reactive polyolefin and a monomeric flame retardant agent to form the flame retardant grafted polyolefin resin. The reactive polyolefin has a functional group including a moiety selected from the group consisting of anhydrides, epoxies, carboxylic acids, ketones, and isocyanates. The monomeric flame retardant agent has an amine functional group. The method also includes a step of extruding the flame retardant grafted polyolefin resin. Also provided is a flame retardant grafted polyolefin resin that can be made according to the method. Further provided is a flame retardant cable that incorporates can incorporate the flame retardant grafted polyolefin resin.

摘要: According to one or more embodiments, cationic polymers may be produced which include one or more monomers containing cations. Such cationic polymers may be utilized as structure directing agents to form mesoporous zeolites. The mesoporous zeolites may include micropores as well as mesopores, and may have a surface area of greater than 350 m2/g and a pore volume of greater than 0.3 cm3/g. Also described are core/shell zeolites, where at least the shell portion includes a mesoporous zeolite material.

摘要: The present invention relates to a vinyl chloride polymer having good thermal stability due to the restraint of dehydrochlorination by heat or ultraviolet rays, and a method of preparing the same. The generation of the dehydrochlorination of the vinyl chloride polymer due to heat or ultraviolet rays may be markedly restrained, the thermal stability thereof may be improved, and the discoloration thereof or the modification of the physical properties thereof may be prevented. In addition, a modifier may be introduced to a polymerization process at the end of the polymerization, and high thermal stability may be attained without generating the transformation of the vinyl chloride polymer.
