A bearing device for a wheel prevents backlash in a circumferential direction and has excellent workability for connecting a hub wheel and an outer joint member of a constant velocity universal joint. The bearing device includes a recess-projection fitting structure in which the hub wheel and a shaft section, which is fitted in a hole of the hub wheel of the outer joint member of the constant velocity universal joint, are unitized together. In the recess-projection fitting structure, entire fitting regions among projections on the outer surface of the shaft section of the outer joint member and recesses, which fit on the projections, are brought into intimate contact with each other.

A method for mounting an electronic circuit-constituting member on a substrate. The method includes preparing a substrate having a surface comprising a liquid-attracting first region and a liquid-repelling second region that surrounds the first region. The method also includes bringing water into contact with the surface of the substrate so as to dispose said water only on the said first region. The method further includes subjecting said substrate to a member-containing liquid that includes an organic solvent where an electronic circuit-constituting member are dispersed in the organic solvent to move said electronic circuit-constituting member to said water disposed on the said first region. The surface of the member is chemically modified with a silane coupling agent including a group with a C—Cl bond. Also, the method includes removing the water and the organic solvent from the surface of the substrate to mount said electronic circuit-constituting member on said substrate.

An ink jet head unit including a head (2) in which a plurality of nozzle arrays (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d) are formed. Each of the nozzle arrays has a number of nozzle holes, and ink can be ejected from the nozzle holes. The head (2) is mounted on the head base, and flat cables (4a, 4b) are connected at one end to mounting parts (7a, 7b), which are interposed between a first pair of the nozzle arrays (2a, 2b) and a second pair of the nozzle arrays (2c, 2d). The flat cables are flexibly formed by covering transmission wires with an insulation film. The flat cables are connected to the head to transmit ink ejection signals for driving the head.

According to a method of the present invention for manufacturing a semiconductor piece, at least two semiconductor layers (12) are first formed on a substrate (10) by stacking a sacrificial layer (11) and the semiconductor layer (12) on the substrate (10) in this order and repeating this stacking. Next, the semiconductor layers (12) are divided into pieces by etching part of the sacrificial layers (11) and part of the semiconductor layers (12). Then, the pieces are separated from the substrate by removing the sacrificial layers (11).
