    摘要： The method of storing profile set storage method according to the present invention comprising (a) selecting as reconstruction data that enables to reconstruct a profile set, either size prioritized data, which is smaller than said profile set, or reconstruction speed prioritized data, which enables to be reconstructed within a shorter time period than is required for reconstructing the size prioritized data, and which is smaller than the profile set but is larger than the size prioritized data; (b) for generating the selected reconstruction data based on the profile set; and (c) storing the reconstruction data generated in the step (b) in a storage device.

    摘要： There is described a file editing apparatus, a file editing method and a file editing program, each of which makes it possible not only for the user to edit an XPS file easily and conveniently, but also for plural users, respectively located at different sites, to issue instructions for editing the same XPS file from the different sites at a time. The apparatus includes: a receiving section to receive a print job; a parsing section to parse the print job, so as to read file editing instruction information attached to the print job; and a file editing section that decompresses an XPS file to edit the XPS file decompressed, and then, compresses the XPS file after editing, so as to create an edited XPS file. Accordingly, the apparatus also makes it possible to edit the XPS file, irrespective of the OS or the environment of the application program currently executed.

    摘要： Disclosed herein is an image forming apparatus, including: a language analysis unit for analyzing print data and generating data having an intermediate format between the print data and bitmap data generated based on the print data; an image processing unit for rasterizing the generated data having the intermediate format for each band by using the predetermined number of lines and generating the bitmap data; a memory for holding the data for which rasterizing processing is being performed by the image processing unit; a printing unit for performing printing based on the generated bitmap data; and a number-of-line switching unit for switching the number of lines of the band in the rasterizing processing of the image processing unit according to whether the print data is data that can include transparency processing data or not.
