摘要: A method for producing a laminated glass with a resin frame includes a disposing step of disposing a laminated glass inside a shaping mold in which a cavity into which a resin material for a resin frame is injected is formed, an injection step of injecting the resin material into the cavity from a first surface side of the laminated glass or an end face side of the laminated glass, a blocking step of blocking a flow of the resin material in at least a part of a peripheral portion of the laminated glass to prevent the resin material from reaching an outer peripheral region on a second surface opposite to the first surface, and an opposing force applying step of applying an opposing force from an opposing force applying position on the second surface and inside of the outer peripheral region of the laminated glass.

摘要: In some examples, a method of forming a housing assembly comprises affixing a support frame onto a first panel cover of the housing assembly, wherein the support frame includes an integrated pattern of channel cavities, positioning a second panel cover of the housing assembly adjacent the support frame, and flowing a bonding material through a plurality of openings of the second panel cover and into the channel cavities of the integrated pattern of the support frame so as to form a secure bond between the first panel cover, the support frame, and the second panel cover of the housing assembly.

摘要: Lens assemblies including a substrate and a plurality of mechanically isolated lenses coupled to the substrate are disclosed. The substrate may have a low coefficient of thermal expansion. Optical connectors including the lens assemblies described herein, as well as methods of fabricating a lens assembly, are also disclosed. In one embodiment, a lens assembly includes a substrate having a first surface, and a lens layer including a plurality of lenses. A coefficient of thermal expansion of the substrate is different from a coefficient of thermal expansion of the plurality of lenses. The lens layer is coupled to the first surface of the substrate, and each lens of the plurality of lenses is mechanically isolated from adjacent lenses of the plurality of lenses by gap regions within the lens layer.

摘要: An ultra-small camera module with wide field of view includes (a) a wafer-level lens system for forming, on an image plane, an image of a wide field-of-view scene, wherein the wafer-level lens system includes (i) a distal planar surface positioned closest to the scene and no more than 2.5 millimeters away from the image plane in direction along optical axis of the wafer-level lens system, and (ii) a plurality of lens elements optically coupled in series along the optical axis, each of the lens elements having a curved surface, and (b) an image sensor mechanically coupled to the wafer-level lens system and including a rectangular array of photosensitive pixels, positioned at the image plane, for capturing the image, wherein cross section of the ultra-small camera module, orthogonal to the optical axis, is rectangular with side lengths no greater than 1.5 millimeters.

摘要: The invention relates to a planar structure for joining, in particular for the material-uniting joining, of at least two components. According to the invention, the planar structure is flexible and formed by at least one reaction strand. The reaction strand comprises a preferably cylindrical core, which is provided, at least in some areas, with a coating, which is constructed with a plurality of coaxially applied layers with a small thickness. To produce the layers, two different materials are used, the layers being constructed alternately with one of the two materials. Because of the high degree of flexibility of the reactive planar structure and its arbitrary area extent, components with a complex geometry in the region of the joint faces as well as large-format components can be joined in a material-uniting manner without problems. The reactive planar structure can be produced here using the methods known from textile engineering with virtually any dimensions and, in addition, by a continuous industrial production process. Moreover, the invention relates to a method for providing a material-uniting connection between two components, in particular by means of the planar structure according to the invention.

摘要: A pad is provided for supporting heavy loads and is capable of supporting loads of 100 tons or more. The pad has a core having a bi-directional grid formed from parallel fiberglass materials, with a first set of material at right angle to a second set of fiberglass materials and which grid surrounds a closed cell material, which is infused with resin to form a core. A fiberglass top surface, bottom surface and at least one sidewall is provided. The result is a pad able to distribute very heavy loads, is resistant to bending, durable and light weight.

摘要: A process for manufacturing a fuel tank, including: inserting a plastic parison including two distinct parts into an open two-cavity mold; inserting a core inside the parison, the core including two parts of a reinforcing element capable of securing two different locations inside the parison; pressing the parison firmly against the mold cavities; fixing the two reinforcing element parts at the two locations of the parison using the core; withdrawing the core; closing the mold, bringing its two cavities together to grip the two parison parts around their periphery to weld them together; injecting a pressurized fluid into the mold and/or creating a vacuum behind the mold cavities to press the parison firmly against the mold cavities; opening the mold and extracting the tank; making an opening into the tank wall; and through the opening, putting at least a third reinforcing element part to link/connect the two first parts together.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a structure, the method comprising: forming a panel assembly by bonding a stack of thickness control plies of composite material to a laminar composite panel, the stack of thickness control plies having a first edge proximate an edge of the laminar composite panel, a second edge opposite the first edge, and a ramp where the thickness of the stack of thickness control plies decreases towards the first or second edge; measuring the thickness of the laminate composite panel or the panel assembly; controlling the number of thickness control plies in accordance with the measured thickness; attaching a first component to the panel assembly, the first component having a surface which engages the laminar composite panel and a ramp which engages the ramp in the stack of thickness control plies; and attaching the laminar composite panel at or near its edge to a further component.
