摘要: A molding die device is provided for bringing a resin sheet into close contact with a pair of dies by vacuum suction from a cavity surface to perform molding. An outer frame portion is formed integrally with an outer peripheral portion of the respective dies arranged to face each other. Moreover, one of the dies has a recessed portion formed at the position of the one of the dies facing the outer frame portion of the other die and configured so that the outer frame portion of the one of the dies can be housed in the recessed portion. The outer frame portion is formed to protrude most in each die. Upon molding, the dies are clamped together after vacuum suction has been performed with the resin sheet being arranged in contact with the outer frame portions.

摘要: A method of forming a vacuum insulated refrigerator cabinet structure includes providing a multi-layer sheet of material comprising at least one layer of barrier material that is disposed between first and second outer structural layers. The barrier material and the first and second outer layers comprise thermoplastic polymers. The multi-layer sheet of material is thermoformed to form a non-planar first component having a central portion and four sidewalls extending transversely from the central portion. The method further includes securing a second component having a central portion and four sidewalls extending transversely from the central portion to the first component to form an interior space therebetween. Porous filler material is positioned in the interior space, and a vacuum is formed in the interior space. The first and second components are sealed together to form a vacuum insulated refrigerator cabinet structure.

摘要: A fluid-filled chamber may include a pair of polymer layers that define a plurality of subchambers and a web area. The subchambers are protruding portions of the polymer layers that enclose a fluid, and the web area is portions of the polymer layers that are located between the subchambers and lay adjacent to each other. The subchambers may have greater thickness than the web area. A perimeter bond joining the polymer layers and extends around a periphery of the chamber. In addition, a plurality of interior bonds join the polymer layers and extend around the subchambers, which may seal the fluid within the subchambers.

摘要: Methods of manufacturing rotor blade components for a wind turbine and rotor blade components produced in accordance with such methods are disclosed. In one embodiment, the method generally includes heating first and second sheets of thermoplastic material to a forming temperature; placing the first sheet of thermoplastic material within a first half of a thermoforming mold and the second sheet of thermoplastic material in an opposite, second half of the thermoforming mold; forming the first sheet of thermoplastic material to the first half of the thermoforming mold; forming the second sheet of thermoplastic material to the second half of the thermoforming mold; compressing the first and second halves of the thermoforming mold so as to join at least a portion of the first and second sheets together; and, releasing the joined first and second sheets of thermoplastic material from the thermoforming mold so as to form the rotor blade component.

The door is molded with a bucket holder and the opening in the door over the bucket holder. The bucket holder is recessed such that a bucket received in the bucket holder will extend partially into the confinement area.

摘要: A sheet body extruded from an extruding die is mounted on conveyers immediately and thereby drawdown and the like is inhibited or prevented to suppress deflection in the thickness, length and the like of the sheet body. Further, the conveyers include a heater inside thereof and thereby reduction of the temperature of the sheet body can be inhibited or prevented by heating by means of the heater. As a result, productivity of the hollow body is improved.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a plastic fuel tank including: a) inserting a plastic parison including two distinct parts into an open two-cavity mold; b) inserting a core, bearing at least part of a reinforcing element configured to create a link between the two parison parts, inside the parison; c) pressing the parison firmly against the mold cavities, for example by blowing through the core and/or creating suction behind the cavities; d) fixing the part of the reinforcing element to at least one of the parison parts using the core; e) withdrawing the core; f) closing the mold, bringing its two cavities together to grip the two parison parts around their periphery to weld them together; g) injecting a pressurized fluid into the mold and/or creating a vacuum behind the mold cavities to press the parison firmly against the mold cavities; and h) opening the mold and extracting the tank.

The elongated tank body has a first end wall; a second end wall; a sidewall extending between the first and second end walls; and an interior space defined by the sidewall and the first and second end walls. The fuel tank further includes a fuel tank vent configured to vent air outside of the fuel tank; a fuel outlet fitting; a fuel discharge tube fitting; and a fuel pickup tube fitting. The entire tank body can be made of a plastic.
