摘要: A module (49, 149, 249) for use in a vehicle fuel system, said module comprising a housing (7) having a first port (9), a second port (41) and a passage (57) between the first port and the second port; a closure body (11) that is moveably arranged in said housing; wherein said closure body is configured for closing the passage between the first port and the second port in a first position of the closure body and for allowing access to the passage in a second position of the closure body; and a pump (13) that is integrated in said housing (7), wherein said pump (13) communicates with the first port (9) and is configured for pumping fluid into or out of the first port (9) while the closure body (11) is in the first position, characterized in that the module (49, 149) further comprises a motor (15) and a closure body actuator (67) configured for positioning the closure body (11, 111) in at least the first position and the second position, wherein said closure body actuator is driven by said motor (15), and said motor is configured for driving the pump (13) while the closure body is in the first position.

摘要: Method for stake-fastening an accessory (4) into a plastic fuel tank, whereby: the accessory (4) is equipped with at least one orifice (5) which passes right through the accessory (4); at least some of the plastic of which the wall of the tank (1) is made is melted; and some of the molten plastic is forced through the orifice (5) of the accessory without becoming detached from the remainder of the molten plastic; the protruding molten plastic is given an appropriate shape (8) to obtain a self-formed plastic rivet, and is left to solidify; the size and shape of the orifice (5) and/or of the solidified plastic (8) being such that the accessory (4) is mechanically fastened to the tank by at least some of the solidified plastic (8), the stake-fastening of the accessory (4) occurring at the time of manufacture of the tank (1) through the moulding of a split or at least two-part parison.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a fuel tank or filling pipe including a wall made of thermoplastics material and a fibrous reinforcement over at least part of the surface thereof, the method including: heating the fibrous reinforcement to bring the fibrous reinforcement into an at least partially molten state; introducing the heated fibrous reinforcement, and the wall in at least partially molten state, into a mold; and welding the fibrous reinforcement to the wall using pressure of a gas which inflates the wall and presses the heated fibrous reinforcement firmly against the wall in the molten state.
