摘要: A non-petroleum or renewable feedstock containing oxygen and contaminants of metals, gums, and resins is treated by introducing the feedstock into a reactor at a flow velocity of at least 20 ft/sec. The feedstock is heated within the reactor and cooled to form a reduced-temperature reactor product. At least a portion of the reduced-temperature reactor product is feed into a hydroprocessing reactor containing a hydroprocessing catalyst to form a hydroprocessed product. The hydroprocessed product is cooled and non-condensable gases, metals and water are separated and removed to form a final product. The final product has an oxygen content that is 60% or less of that of the feedstock, and wherein the final product comprises 25 wt % or less any triglycerides, monoglycerides, diglycerides, free fatty acids, phosphatides, sterols, tocopherols, tocotrienols, or fatty alcohols, from 5 wt % to 30 wt % naphtha, and 50 wt % or more diesel.

摘要: Processes for converting an alkane to an alkene. In some embodiments, the process can include contacting a hydrocarbon-containing feed with a first catalyst that can include Pt or a second catalyst that can include Cr within a conversion zone to effect dehydrogenation of at least a portion of the hydrocarbon-containing feed to produce an effluent that can include one or more dehydrogenated hydrocarbons and molecular hydrogen. The process can also include contacting the effluent with a solid oxygen carrier disposed within the conversion zone to effect combustion of at least a portion of the molecular hydrogen to produce a conversion product that can include the one or more dehydrogenated hydrocarbons and water. In some embodiments, contacting the feed with the first or second catalyst can occur in a first conversion zone and contacting the effluent with the solid oxygen carrier can occur in a second conversion zone.

摘要: A method for producing light aromatics, includes the steps of: i) contacting a feedstock comprising heavy aromatic(s) with a catalyst in a fluidized reactor for aromatics lightening reaction in the presence of hydrogen to obtain a product rich in C6-C8 light aromatic(s) and a spent catalyst, wherein the heavy aromatic is one or more selected from C9+ aromatics; ii) separating the resulted product rich in C6-C8 light aromatic(s) to obtain hydrogen, a non-aromatic component, C6-C8 light aromatic(s) and a C9+ aromatic component; and iii) recycling at least a part of the C9+ aromatic component to the fluidized reactor. The method has strong adaptability to feedstocks and high flexibility in operation and allows a long-period stable operation. The method can produce high-value light aromatics from heavy aromatics that are difficult to be treated and utilized.

摘要: The specification discloses a highly macroporous catalyst for hydroprocessing and hydroconversion of heavy hydrocarbon feedstocks. The high macroporosity catalyst incudes an inorganic oxide, molybdenum, and nickel components. It has a pore structure such that at least 18% of its total pore volume is in pores of a diameter greater than 5,000 angstroms and at least 25% of its total pore volume is in pores of a diameter greater than 1,000 angstroms. Preferably, the pore structure is bimodal. The catalyst is made by co-mulling the catalytic components with a high molecular weight polyacrylamide followed by forming the co-mulled mixture into a particle or an extrudate. The particle or extrudate is dried and calcined under controlled calcination temperature conditions to yield a calcined particle or extrudate of the high macroporosity catalyst composition.

摘要: A process to produce olefins and aromatics via a purification of a hydrocarbon stream including: a) Providing a hydrocarbon stream having a starting boiling point of at least 15° C., a diene value of at least 1.0 preferably at least 1.5 g I2/100 g and a bromine number of at least 5 g Br2/100 g and containing at least 10 wt % of pyrolysis plastic oil where preferably at least 10 wt. % of said hydrocarbon stream has a boiling point of at least 150° C. based on the total weight of said hydrocarbon stream; c) Performing a first hydrotreating step; e) performing a second hydrotreating step; and f) recovering a purified hydrocarbon stream wherein at least a part of this purified hydrocarbon stream is sent to a steam cracker to produce olefins, such as ethylene and propylene, and aromatics.

摘要: A method for preparing liquid fuel by direct conversion of syngas uses the syngas as reaction raw material and conducts a catalytic conversion reaction on a fixed bed or a moving bed. The catalyst is a composite catalyst formed by compounding component I and component II in a mechanical mixing mode. The active ingredient of the component I is a metal oxide, and the component II is at least one of zeolites with one-dimensional ten-membered ring porous channels; and a weight ratio of the active ingredient in the component I to that in the component II is 0.1-20. The reaction process has high product yield and selectivity. The selectivity for liquid fuel composed of C5-C11 can reach 50-80%. The selectivity for aromatic hydrocarbon is less than 40% in C5-C11, while the selectivity for methane side product is less than 15%.

摘要: A process for pyrolysis of a mixed plastic stream that contains polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is provided in which the chloride from PVC is removed from an initial melting reactor that melts the mixed plastic stream. Chloride is removed in a vapor stream from the initial melting reactor with additional chloride removed from addition of sorbents to the pyrolysis reactor and in adsorbent beds downstream of the pyrolysis reactor. The pyrolysis reactor has a configuration comprising two cylindrical ring structures, an inner cylindrical ring structure within an outer cylindrical ring structure wherein a circulation liquid supply stream enters said pyrolysis reactor tangentially relative to a ring edge of said two cylindrical ring structures and wherein solid particles move in a downward direction to a bottom of the pyrolysis reactor.

摘要: A multi-stage process for transforming a high sulfur ISO 8217 compliant Feedstock Heavy Marine Fuel Oil involving a core desulfurizing process that produces a Product Heavy Marine Fuel Oil that can be used as a feedstock for subsequent refinery process such as anode grade coking, needle coking and fluid catalytic cracking. The Product Heavy Marine Fuel Oil exhibits multiple properties desirable as a feedstock for those processes including a sulfur level has a maximum sulfur content (ISO 14596 or ISO 8754) between the range of 0.05 mass % to 1.0 mass. A process plant for conducting the process is also disclosed.

摘要: In accordance with one or more embodiments herein, an integrated process for upgrading a hydrocarbon oil feed stream utilizing a delayed coker, steam enhanced catalytic cracker, and an aromatics complex includes solvent deasphalting the hydrocarbon oil stream; delayed coking the heavy residual hydrocarbons; hydrotreating the delayed coker product stream and the deasphalted oil stream to form a light C5+ hydrocarbon stream and a heavy C5+ hydrocarbon stream; steam enhanced catalytically cracking the light C5+ hydrocarbon stream; steam enhanced catalytically cracking the heavy C5+ hydrocarbon stream; passing at least a portion of the light steam enhanced catalytically cracked stream, the heavy steam enhanced catalytically cracked stream, or both to a product separator to produce a olefin product stream, a naphtha product stream, and a BTX product stream; and processing the naphtha product stream in the aromatics complex to produce benzene and xylenes.
