摘要: An integrated process for producing para-xylenes may include catalytically reforming a naphtha feed stream; separating the reformate stream into a C1-C7 hydrocarbon stream and a C8+ hydrocarbon stream; exposing the C1-C7 hydrocarbon stream to a first solvent in a solvent extraction unit to form a non-aromatic hydrocarbon stream and an aromatics stream; upgrading the aromatics stream to form a toluene-rich transalkylation feed stream; separating the C8+ hydrocarbon stream into a C9+ hydrocarbon stream, a para-xylene stream and a xylene isomer stream; dealkylating the C9+ hydrocarbon stream; separating the dealkylation product stream into an additional xylene stream and a tri-methyl benzene rich stream; and upgrading the toluene-rich transalkylation feed stream and the tri-methyl benzene rich stream with a hydrogen stream to produce an alkyl-benzene stream and additional xylene stream, wherein a ratio by weight of the toluene-rich transalkylation feed stream to the tri-methylbenzene rich stream is from 0.3 to 3.

摘要: A process for converting crude oil to light olefins, aromatics, or both, includes contacting a crude oil with an FCC catalyst composition in a catalytic cracking system at a temperature of greater than or equal to 580° C., a weight ratio of the FCC catalyst to the crude oil of from 2:1 to 10:1, and a residence time of from 0.1 seconds to 60 seconds. Contacting causes at least a portion of hydrocarbons in the crude oil to undergo cracking reactions to produce a cracked effluent comprising at least olefins. The FCC catalyst composition for producing olefins and aromatics from crude oil includes ultrastable Y-type zeolite impregnated with lanthanum, ZSM-5 zeolite impregnated with phosphorous, an alumina binder, colloidal silica, and a matrix material comprising Kaolin clay.

摘要: An integrated process and associated system for conversion of crude oil to value added petrochemicals. The process includes separating crude oil into light and heavy crude fractions and processing the heavy fraction in a solvent deasphalting unit and a delayed coker unit, and then providing the light fraction and selected effluents of the solvent deasphalting unit and the delayed coker unit to a hydrotreater. The process further includes separating the effluent of the hydrotreater to generate a C1 fraction passed to a methane cracker, a C2 fraction passed to an ethane steam cracker, a C3-C4 fraction passed to a dehydrogenation reactor, a hydrotreated light fraction passed to an aromatization unit, and a hydrotreated heavy fraction passed to a steam enhanced catalytic cracking unit. The process further includes separating effluents of the various unit operations into product streams including a BTX stream and a light olefin stream.

摘要: In accordance with one or more embodiments herein, an integrated process for upgrading a hydrocarbon oil feed stream utilizing a delayed coker, steam enhanced catalytic cracker, and an aromatics complex includes solvent deasphalting the hydrocarbon oil stream; delayed coking the heavy residual hydrocarbons; hydrotreating the delayed coker product stream and the deasphalted oil stream to form a light C5+ hydrocarbon stream and a heavy C5+ hydrocarbon stream; steam enhanced catalytically cracking the light C5+ hydrocarbon stream; steam enhanced catalytically cracking the heavy C5+ hydrocarbon stream; passing at least a portion of the light steam enhanced catalytically cracked stream, the heavy steam enhanced catalytically cracked stream, or both to a product separator to produce a olefin product stream, a naphtha product stream, and a BTX product stream; and processing the naphtha product stream in the aromatics complex to produce benzene and xylenes.

摘要: A process for treatment of PFO from a steam cracking zone includes selectively hydrogenating PFO or a portion thereof for conversion of polyaromatics compounds contained in the PFO into aromatic compounds with one benzene ring to produce a selectively hydrogenated stream. The selectively hydrogenated stream is selectively hydrocracked for selective ring opening and dealkylation to produce a selectively hydrocracked BTX+ stream. The selectively hydrocracked BTX+ stream is separated into BTX compounds. Optionally the PFO is separated into a first stream containing C9+ aromatics compounds with one benzene ring, and a second stream containing C10+ aromatic compounds, whereby the first stream containing C9+ aromatics compounds with one benzene ring is passed to the selective hydrocracking step, and the feed to the selective hydrogenation step comprises all or a portion of the second stream containing C10+ aromatic compounds.

摘要: A steam-assisted catalytic cracking process for a hydrocarbon feed is provided. The process includes: introducing the hydrocarbon feed, a fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) catalyst, and steam to a FCC reactor with a mass ratio of steam to hydrocarbon feed between 0.05 and 1.0; cracking the hydrocarbon feed in the presence of the FCC catalyst and steam to produce a cracked hydrocarbon feed and spent FCC catalyst, the spent FCC catalyst comprising coke deposits and hydrocarbon deposits; stripping the hydrocarbon deposits from the spent FCC catalyst with steam in a stripper to obtain a hydrocarbon-stripped spent FCC catalyst; regenerating the hydrocarbon-stripped spent FCC catalyst in a regenerator by subjecting the stripped spent FCC catalyst to heat in the presence of oxygen to combust the coke deposits on the stripped spent FCC catalyst and produce a regenerated FCC catalyst; recycling the regenerated FCC catalyst.

摘要: In accordance with one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, a continuous catalytic deasphalting process includes introducing a feed comprising crude oil and solvent to a first reactor to deasphalt the feed, producing polymerized asphaltene adsorbed to the catalyst and deasphalted oil; introducing solvent to a second reactor to regenerate catalyst in the second reactor while the deasphalting step is performed in the first reactor; introducing a wash solvent to the first reactor after deasphalting to remove the polymerized asphaltene, thereby regenerating the catalyst in the first reactor and producing a mixture comprising solvent and polymerized asphaltene; passing the mixture to a separator downstream of the reactor system to separate the wash solvent from the polymerized asphaltenes; and reintroducing at least a portion of the separated wash solvent to at least one of the first and second reactors.
