摘要: The present disclosure refers to transfer line exchangers with improved cooling capacity, equipped with a thermal spray coating in crackers and a method for the maintenance of transfer line exchangers with the help of a thermal spray coating. In some embodiments, the thermal spray coating is obtained from a spray material formed of Cr3C2 and a NiCr alloy. Preferably, the spray coating material comprises at least 60 wt.-%, preferably at least 70 wt.-% of Cr3C2, based on the total weight of the spray material.

摘要: A process for re-refining used lubricating oil (ULO), much of which is used motor oil (UMO) relies on more rapid heating, turbulent flows, higher peak temperatures, to achieve rapid thermal cracking, even including metal-bearing additives without catalysts, compared to conventional refining of crude oil and conventional recycling processing of UMO. By thermally cracking this way and scrubbing with recycled, processed liquids from the flow stream, a process readily removes metal-bearing hydrocarbons in typical lubricating oil additives. Those bonded metals consigned to heavy fraction “bottoms,” are commonly non-removable by other recycling schemes. Long chain polymers including paraffins are broken into lighter hydrocarbons with properties typical of fuels containing olefins, naphthenes, and the like. Data and analysis reveal low solids, effective metal removal, comparatively low viscosity and boiling points, and greatly reduced sulfur content in fuel and oil products resulting.

摘要: A method of steam cracking using a steam cracking arrangement including an electric cracking furnace without a convection zone and a quench cooling train is proposed, wherein a process gas stream is passed through the cracking furnace and the cooling train. The cooling train is operated to comprise at least two distinct cooling steps arranged in either order, wherein in a first cooling step at least a part of the process gas stream withdrawn from the electric cracking furnace is cooled against vaporizing boiler feed water at an absolute pressure level between 30 and 175 bar and wherein in a second cooling step at least a part of the process gas stream withdrawn from the electric cracking furnace is cooled against a superheated mixture of feed hydrocarbons and process steam used in forming the process gas stream which is thereby heated to a temperature level between 350 and 750° C.

摘要: An integrated process and associated system for conversion of crude oil to value added petrochemicals. The process includes separating crude oil into light and heavy crude fractions and processing the heavy fraction in a solvent deasphalting unit and a delayed coker unit, and then providing the light fraction and selected effluents of the solvent deasphalting unit and the delayed coker unit to a hydrotreater. The process further includes separating the effluent of the hydrotreater to generate a C1 fraction passed to a methane cracker, a C2 fraction passed to an ethane steam cracker, a C3-C4 fraction passed to a dehydrogenation reactor, a hydrotreated light fraction passed to an aromatization unit, and a hydrotreated heavy fraction passed to a steam enhanced catalytic cracking unit. The process further includes separating effluents of the various unit operations into product streams including a BTX stream and a light olefin stream.

摘要: The present invention discloses a process and an apparatus for conversion of waste plastic pyrolysis oil into value added products, wherein, the pyrolysis oil is produced from waste plastics by utilizing HCGO as a preheating stream. The process and apparatus as disclosed improves the conventional DCU process in terms of liquid, gaseous yields and reduction in coke yields and without disturbing the hardware of the conventional process along with energy efficient production of pyrolysis oil. The present process and apparatus include a delayed coking process and a system for the delayed coking process which involves the integration of delayed coking system with pyrolysis section and utilization of produced pyrolysis oil by co-processing it with residual heavy hydrocarbon feedstock.
