摘要: The present disclosure relates to a continuous production system and a diester-material production unit included therein, wherein the production unit includes a reaction device in which an esterification reaction of dicarboxylic acid and a primary alcohol is performed, a column in which gas-liquid separation of the primary alcohol and the water introduced is performed, a heat exchange device for recovering heat of a gas phase line of the column, a condenser installed at a rear end of the heat exchange device and liquefying a mixture of a gas-phase primary alcohol and water, and a layer separator in which the layer separation of a mixture of a liquefied primary alcohol and water is performed, wherein the heat exchange device includes one or more of a first heat exchanger for performing heat exchange with a raw material feed line of the reaction device, a second heat exchanger for performing heat exchange with a line through which a low temperature stream flows in a process, and a third heat exchanger for performing heat exchange with condensed water generated in the process. According to the present disclosure, the amount of a coolant used and the volume of steam of a reactor may be reduced, and the thermal efficiency of the entire process may be improved.

摘要: A containment system for a fuel-water separator assembly on a watercraft. The containment system may be used to shield the fuel-water separator assembly from sunlight, enabling the containment system to be located outside existing above-deck compartments. When location within an existing compartment is desired, the containment systems, by virtue of isolating the fuel-water separator from the internal surroundings of the compartment, can be placed in closer proximity to electrical equipment, providing a greater degree of freedom with respect to the placement of the fuel-water separator assembly. The disclosed containment systems can be readily accessed for maintenance of the fuel-water separator. In some embodiments, the disclosed containment system is provided as a kit for retrofitting of existing watercraft.

Controlling a backpressure provided to a heavy phase outlet (5b) and/or a light phase outlet (5a) of the disc stack centrifugal separator (3) and hereby controlling a fluid level in the heavy phase outlet chamber (31) and/or light phase outlet chamber (33), said controlling being dependent on at least one value of said one or more measured properties.

摘要: A mixed fluid separator apparatus includes an overload protection chamber that prevents a large and sudden influx of oil from fouling a coalescing separator. To prevent sudden influx of a large concentration of oil from overwhelming the coalescing separator, a separate overload protection chamber is connected to a main coalescing separator apparatus. The overload protection chamber includes a water drain (majority water with some oil) to the main coalescing separator apparatus and an oil overflow (majority oil with some water) to drain excess oil when necessary to prevent overfilling of the coalescing separator apparatus. The overload protection chamber functions to rapidly separate and remove heavy concentrations of oil, protecting the main coalescing separator apparatus.
