摘要: The present invention relates to a mass for trapping silicon compounds, comprising a porous alumina-based support and at least one metal chosen from the metals from groups VIB and VIIIB, and exhibiting a grain density of at least 1.20 g/ml, a specific surface of at least 300 m2/g and pores with a mean size of less than 6.5 nm, as determined by mercury porosimetry. The present invention also relates to a process for the preparation of said trapping mass and to a trapping process using said trapping mass.

摘要: Improved alkylation catalysts, alkylation methods, and methods of making alkylation catalysts are described. The alkylation method comprises reaction over a solid acid, zeolite-based catalyst and can be conducted for relatively long periods at steady state conditions. The alkylation catalyst comprises a crystalline zeolite structure, a Si/Al molar ratio of 20 or less, less than 0.5 weight percent alkali metals, and further having a characteristic catalyst life property. Some catalysts may contain rare earth elements in the range of 10 to 35 wt %. One method of making a catalyst includes a calcination step following exchange of the rare earth element(s) conducted at a temperature of at least 575° C. to stabilize the resulting structure followed by an deammoniation treatment. An improved method of deammoniation uses low temperature oxidation.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a method of processing a hydrocarbon feed includes fractionating the hydrocarbon feed into a light stream and a heavy stream, hydrotreating the heavy stream to form a hydrotreated heavy stream, combining the light stream and the hydrotreated heavy stream to form a upgraded feed stream, and feeding the upgraded feed stream to a single Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) reaction zone, thereby producing a product stream comprising light olefins. The light stream may comprise hydrocarbons boiling at less than 540° C. and the heavy stream may comprise hydrocarbons boiling at greater than 540° C. The FCC reaction zone may be operated in a down-flow configuration and the FCC may be operated under high severity conditions.

摘要: Processes and systems for controlling operation of a commercial refinery distillation column and/or splitter operable to separate hydrocarbons. An automated process controller (APC) receives signal from at least one analyzer that provides information about the concentration of at least a first chemical in a first fraction and a second chemical in a second fraction obtained from the distillation column. The APC comprises programming in the form of an algorithm that calculates real-time monetary values for the first chemical and the second chemical and alters the operation of the distillation column to change either the percentage of the first chemical in the second fraction or the percentage of the second chemical in the first fraction, thereby maximizing overall operational profit for the distillation column.

摘要: A process and apparatus for making aromatics are described. The process includes reforming a naphtha stream in a reforming zone to form a reformer effluent comprising aromatic compounds and non-aromatic compounds, wherein at least a portion of the aromatic compounds contain alkyl groups. The reformer effluent is heated and passed directly to an acid cracking reaction zone. The non-aromatic compounds are selectively cracked and at least a portion of the alkyl groups on the aromatic compounds are selectively dealkylated in the presence of an acid cracking catalyst to form a cracked reformer effluent comprising the aromatic compounds and cracked olefins.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses are provided for isomerizing a hydrocarbon stream. The method includes isomerizing a hydrocarbon stream in a reactor to produce an intermediate isomerized stream. The intermediate isomerized stream is fractionated to produce an off gas stream and a heavy isomerized stream, where the off gas stream includes an off gas recycle stream. The off gas recycle stream is dried in an off gas dryer to produce a hydrogen recycle stream, where the off gas drier includes an off gas dryer membrane separating the off gas recycle stream from an off gas purge stream. The off dryer membrane includes a perfluorosulfonated ionomer. The hydrogen recycle stream is then fed into the reactor.

摘要: The invention is directed to a process for producing BTX and LPG, comprising: a) contacting a feed stream comprising C5-C12 hydrocarbons in the presence of hydrogen with a hydrocracking catalyst in a hydrocracking reactor to produce a hydrocracking product stream comprising hydrogen, methane, LPG and BTX, b) separating the hydrocracking product stream into a first gas stream and a first liquid stream, c) separating the first gas stream to obtain a second gas stream comprising hydrogen and methane and a second liquid stream comprising LPG and BTX, wherein the separation is performed such that the second liquid stream is substantially free of hydrogen and methane, d) separating the second liquid stream into a third gas stream comprising LPG and a third liquid stream comprising BTX, wherein step (c) involves adding a part of the third liquid stream to the first gas stream to absorb the LPG in the first gas stream to obtain the second liquid stream or adding a part of the third liquid stream to a gas stream sep crated from the first gas stream to absorb the LPG in said gas stream separated from the first gas stream to obtain the second liquid stream.
