Abstract: An auger type ice-making machine of the present invention comprises a tubular freezer casing which has an ice-making cylinder that rotatably accommodates an auger inside, an ice compression head which rotatably supports the upper end of the auger, a housing which rotatably supports the lower end of the auger, and a geared motor which is connected to the lower part of the housing. The geared motor drives the auger rotationally. And the auger type ice-making machine of the present invention further comprises a flange which constitutes an attachment base for the ice discharge tube attached to the upper part of the freezer casing. The flange is fastened to the ice-making cylinder by means of bolts that also fasten the ice compression head to the inside of the ice-making cylinder.

Abstract: An upper limit value of an upward gradient of a road surface for starting neutral coasting is set to be larger than an upper limit of the upward gradient of the road surface for starting free-run coasting, so, when the upward gradient is relatively large and a coasting distance is short, the vehicle is caused to travel in the neutral coasting, and stop and restart of the engine are not carried out. Therefore, a decrease in drivability of the vehicle is suppressed. When the upward gradient is relatively small and the coasting distance is long, the vehicle is caused to travel in the free-run coasting, and supply of fuel to the engine is stopped, so fuel economy of the vehicle is obtained. Thus, it is possible to achieve both fuel economy and drivability of the vehicle during coasting on an upward gradient.

The neutral inertia running mode is terminated when an operation amount of the accelerator pedal becomes equal to or greater than a predefined first determination value. The free-run inertia running mode is terminated when an operation amount of the accelerator pedal becomes equal to or greater than a predefined second determination value larger than the first determination value.

Abstract: Disclosed is a vehicle control apparatus that can concurrently achieve an improved drivability and an excellent restart performance of an internal combustion engine. The vehicle control apparatus includes an eco-run system that automatically stops the engine when an automatic stop condition is established and restarts the engine when a restart condition is established, a throttle motor that opens and closes a throttle valve adjusting air amount to be sucked into the engine, and a vehicle speed sensor that detects the vehicle speed. The vehicle control apparatus is adapted to control the throttle motor to enlarge the throttle valve opening degree in response to the higher vehicle speed, according to the vehicle speed information from the vehicle speed sensor (Step S3 to Step S7), when the engine is automatically stopped while the vehicle is travelling (Step S2).

Abstract: A control apparatus is applied to a hybrid vehicle having a driving apparatus including a power split mechanism which splits torque of an internal combustion engine into a first MG and output portion, and a motor lock mechanism which switches a state of the power split mechanism between a differential state in which the torque of the internal combustion engine splits into the first MG and output portion and a non-differential state in which it is stopped to split the torque. The hybrid vehicle switches a driving mode between a first driving mode in which the power split mechanism is switched to the differential state and a second driving mode in which the power split mechanism is switched to the non-differential state. The control apparatus calculates energy loss of the driving apparatus in each driving mode, and switches the driving mode of the vehicle based on the calculated energy loss.

Abstract: Provided is a control device for a hybrid vehicle capable of attaining an assist torque generated by a clutch mechanism at an appropriate timing, upon starting the engine.
