摘要: A wireless vehicle-trailer interface system for communication between a vehicle and a trailer is provided. The vehicle may include a vehicle hitch, a vehicle control system, a vehicle radio frequency system, and a processor, the processor configured to generate a unique data packet for each vehicle radio frequency system, determine, for each received response packet, a distance between a corresponding receiving vehicle radio frequency system and a corresponding transmitting trailer radio frequency systems, determine a relative physical position of each vehicle radio frequency system and trailer radio frequency system, determine dimensions of the trailer, determine a physical position of a vehicle hitch and a trailer coupled, and generate instructions for the vehicle control system to cause the vehicle to move to align the vehicle hitch with a trailer coupler.

摘要: Some embodiments are directed to methods and apparatus for predicting traffic conditions and controlling a host vehicle based on the predicted conditions for travel along a path. The methods and apparatus can perform the following: accessing current path data relevant to a location and speed the host vehicle; detecting data, from a vehicular communications network, from a merging vehicle intending to merge into the path of the host vehicle; detecting data, from the vehicular communications network, of preceding traffic in the path of the host vehicle; determining a speed and location of the merging vehicle from the data transmitted over the vehicle communications network; determining a speed and location of preceding traffic on the path of the host vehicle from the data transmitted over the vehicular communications network; and predicting whether the speed of the preceding traffic or the speed of the merging vehicle will slow down during the merge.

摘要: A system for detecting a lane line of a road and a method thereof is disclosed. An image-retrieving device retrieves an image in front of a vehicle to generate a picture, and transmits the picture to a processing device. The processing device transforms one or two lane lines on the picture into a plurality of characteristic values, processes the characteristic values to generate one or two prediction lane lines, and uses them to dynamically predict and complete the lane lines, thereby forming a lane line prediction model. The processing device uses the lane line prediction model to determine whether the vehicle deviates, and transmits the picture and the lane line prediction model to a display device to display. When the vehicle deviates, the display device warns. The present invention can improve to recognize an unclear lane line, a single lane line and a far lane line.

摘要: The disclosure includes embodiments for modifying a performance of a vehicle component whose performance is affected by a vehicle fluid that is contaminated by water. A method according to some embodiments includes recording sensor data describing refractometry measurements for the vehicle fluid. The method includes determining contamination data that describes an amount of water present in the vehicle fluid. The method includes analyzing the contamination data to determine parameter data describing modifications for a set of parameters for an advanced driver assistance system (“ADAS system”) that control the operation of the ADAS system, wherein the parameter data is operable to update the set of parameters and thereby modify the operation of the ADAS system to compensate for the amount of water present in the vehicle fluid so that vehicle component performs as though the vehicle fluid is substantially not contaminated by water.

摘要: An automotive vehicle includes a vehicle steering system, an actuator configured to control the steering system, a first controller, and a second controller. The first controller is in communication with the actuator. The first controller is programmed with a primary automated driving system control algorithm and is configured to communicate an actuator control signal based on the primary automated driving system control algorithm. The second controller is in communication with the actuator and with the first controller. The second controller is configured to, in response to a first predicted vehicle path based on the actuator control signal deviating from a current lane, control the actuator to maintain a current actuator setting. The second controller is also configured to, in response to the first predicted vehicle path being within the current lane, control the actuator according to the actuator control signal.
