摘要: A drive and control system for a lawn tractor includes a CAN-Bus network, a plurality of controllers, a pair of electric transaxles controlled by the plurality of controllers, and one or more steering and drive input devices coupled to respective sensor(s) for sensing user steering and drive inputs. The plurality of controllers communicate with one or more vehicle sensors via the CAN-Bus network. The plurality of controllers receive the user's steering and drive inputs and posts on the CAN-Bus network and generate drive signals to obtain the desired speed and direction of motion of the lawn tractor.

摘要: A homopolar DC electromagnetic transmission (HET) and an application system thereof are provided. The HET includes two rotors, a stator, an external auxiliary system and an adjustment control system. Each of the rotors has one or more axisymmetric rotor magnetic conductors, and the stator has one or more direct current magnet exciting coils wound around an axis of a rotation shaft. A main magnetic circuit is guided to be a closed ring. The HET includes at least two main magnetic circuits. The HET includes a closed main current loop. The loop is connected with all the rotor magnetic conductors, a rotor electric conductor, a dynamic/static circuit connecting medium, stator conductors and stator magnetic conductors in series or in series and parallel. A direction of main current on the rotor magnetic conductors is perpendicular to a direction of magnetic flux (ϕ) on meridian plane.

摘要: System including an effort-monitoring system is configured to control tractive efforts (TEs) individually produced by propulsion-generating vehicles in a vehicle system. The effort-monitoring system is configured to control each of the propulsion-generating vehicles to provide a respective prescribed TE. The vehicle system operates at a system TE when each of the propulsion-generating vehicles is providing the respective prescribed TE. The prescribed TEs are determined by at least one of an operating plan of the vehicle system or a regulation that limits TE or ground speed of the vehicle system. In response to determining that a first propulsion-generating vehicle is providing a reduced TE that is less than the prescribed TE of the first propulsion-generating vehicle, the effort-monitoring system is configured to control a second propulsion-generating vehicle to exceed the prescribed TE of the second propulsion-generating vehicle so that the vehicle system is operating at or below the system TE.

The electronic shift lever may include a step motor coupled to the console surface and having both ends to which motor rotation shafts are connected, a pair of lever arms each having one end rotatably coupled to one or each of the motor rotation shafts, a pair of lever pins each rotatably coupled to the other end of one or each of the lever arms, a shift lever having side portions rotatably connected to the lever arms by the lever pins and a rear end to which a magnetic unit is coupled, a display unit formed on the shift lever, and a recognition sensor formed in the console surface and sensing a position of the magnetic unit. When the shift lever is moved forward or rearward while forming an inclination angle with the console surface, a gear shift stage of the vehicle is changed.

摘要: A method for controlling a continuously variable ratio transmission is described. The method may include controlling a continuously variable ratio unit (“variator”) having rotary input and output members through which the variator is coupled between an engine and a driven component, the variator receiving a primary control signal and being constructed and arranged to exert upon its input and output members torques which correspond directly to the control signal. The method may also include determining a target engine acceleration, determining settings of the variator's primary control signal and of an engine torque control for providing the required engine acceleration and adjusting the control signal and/or the engine torque control based on these settings, predicting a consequent engine speed change, allowing for engine and/or transmission characteristics, and correcting the settings of the control signal and engine torque based on a comparison of actual and predicted engine speeds.

摘要: Disclosed is a vehicle control apparatus that can concurrently achieve an improved drivability and an excellent restart performance of an internal combustion engine. The vehicle control apparatus includes an eco-run system that automatically stops the engine when an automatic stop condition is established and restarts the engine when a restart condition is established, a throttle motor that opens and closes a throttle valve adjusting air amount to be sucked into the engine, and a vehicle speed sensor that detects the vehicle speed. The vehicle control apparatus is adapted to control the throttle motor to enlarge the throttle valve opening degree in response to the higher vehicle speed, according to the vehicle speed information from the vehicle speed sensor (Step S3 to Step S7), when the engine is automatically stopped while the vehicle is travelling (Step S2).

摘要: A safety interlock system for hand operated vehicle accelerator control systems is disclosed which permits a hand operated accelerator control system to be immobilized so that it cannot be activated unintentionally or accidentally by an individual operator who is not familiar with a vehicle so equipped. The safety interlock system may be selectively activated by the vehicle operator manually directly by mechanical means or remotely by means of a switch-controlled hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical activator. An indicator system is provided which indicates the status of the safety interlock system to the vehicle operator.
