摘要: An electric vehicle includes a shift lever and a clutch pedal for simulating manual gear changes of a traditional vehicle equipped with an internal combustion engine and manual transmission, and includes a controller for controlling the operation of the electric vehicle. The driver operates the shift lever in a similar fashion to that of a traditional manual transmission shift lever, however the associated gear positions do not correspond to physical gears in a transmission but rather virtual gear stage modes that correspond to mapped torque characteristics with respect to the rotational speed of the electric motor. The clutch pedal is operated by the driver when the shift lever is operated. The controller calculates the virtual engine speed of the virtual engine based on the virtual gear stage mode selected by the shift lever and the operation amount of the clutch pedal, and displays the virtual engine speed on a display.

摘要: An electric vehicle is configured to be able to perform running by an MT mode that controls an electric motor with a torque characteristic like an MT vehicle having a manual transmission and an internal combustion engine, and running by an EV mode that controls the electric motor with a normal torque characteristic. The electric vehicle includes a mode changeover switch for switching to the running by the MT mode.

摘要: An accelerator device includes a pedal pad and a strain gauge. When a driver of a vehicle having the accelerator device depresses the pedal pad, the pedal pad is deformed in a direction of a blank arrow. The strain gauge senses the displacement amount of the pedal pad in the direction of the blank arrow and outputs an electric signal, which corresponds to the displacement amount, to an outside as the depression amount of the accelerator device. When the driver removes a foot from the pedal pad, the pedal pad returns to a state of the pedal pad that is not depressed by the driver. Therefore, it is possible to limit occurrence of that the depression amount of the pedal pad becomes an unintended value due to, for example, catching of the pedal pad by a floor mat. As a result, the accelerator device can reliably sense the depression amount.

摘要: A vehicle with a manual transmission includes vibration devices on the clutch pedal and the accelerator pedal. To assist the driver, a controller activates these vibration devices when the corresponding pedal should be further released. Criteria are described for determining whether one of the pedals should be further released during various maneuvers such as vehicle launch, and gear changes.

摘要: A system and method for actuation of a clutch in a transmission of a vehicle including an electronic clutch actuator adapted to be in fluid communication with a clutch slave cylinder coupled to the clutch of the transmission and the electronic clutch actuator including an integrated manual override assembly adapted to be in fluid communication between the clutch footpedal and the clutch slave cylinder, wherein the integrated manual override assembly prevents fluid flow from the clutch footpedal to the clutch slave cylinder when the electronic clutch actuator is being used to electronically actuate the clutch slave cylinder and allows fluid flow from the clutch footpedal to the clutch slave cylinder when the electronic clutch actuator is not being used to manually actuate the clutch slave cylinder.

摘要: A device includes: a storage that stores detection values of a position detector when an operation member is at a start point position and when the operation member is at an end point position as a start point detection value and an end point detection value, respectively; an operation amount computing section that, based on a difference between the detection value of the position detector and the start point detection value, computes an operation amount of the operation member; and a correction section that, when the detection value falls below the start point detection value, corrects the start point detection value by adding thereto a deviation value of the detection value from the start point detection value, and when the detection value exceeds the end point detection value, corrects the start point detection value by adding thereto a deviation of the detection value from the end point detection value.

摘要: A pedal release system includes a pedal bracket configured to couple to a vehicle dash panel, a pivot pin received within the pedal bracket and defining a first rotational axis, a pedal arm configured to rotate about the first rotational axis, an activation bracket coupled to a stationary structural component of the vehicle, and a pedal release lever coupled to the pedal bracket and movable between a first position and a second position. The pedal release lever includes a contact lever, a pivot release arm, and a pivot push arm. In the first position the pivot release arm facilitates maintaining the pivot pin within the pedal bracket. Upon an impact event where the contact lever is brought into contact with the activation bracket, the pedal release lever is moved to the second position where the pivot push arm urges the pivot pin out of the pedal bracket.

摘要: An actuator device (2) for actuating at least one foot pedal (P) of a motor vehicle has at least one actuating element (8), whereby, for applying force to the foot pedal (P), said actuating element is shifted by means of a positioning mechanism (10) between an application position and a released position. It is provided that the positioning mechanism (10) is drivable with a positioning force (SF), by means of inertial means (such as an inertial mass).
