摘要： An operator mechanism for a control enclosure includes a shaft assembly having an adjustable length. A shaft extender may be selectively slidable longitudinally along an operator shaft to selectively adjust the length of the shaft assembly, and selectively lockable on the operator shaft to inhibit sliding of the shaft extender on the operator shaft to retain a selected length of the shaft assembly. A shaft extender may be received in a longitudinal passage of a mount sleeve and extend distally outward from the mount sleeve. The shaft extender may be selectively movable longitudinally within a longitudinal passage of the mount sleeve relative to a shaft operator to selectively adjust the length of the shaft assembly.

摘要： An ergonomic adapter for a transmission tower for a motor vehicle, such as a tractor-trailer is disclosed. The adapter includes a tower mounting bracket that is removably coupled to the tower of the transmission and can be positioned at a selected position along the height of the transmission tower and at a selected angular position about an axis of the tower. The adapter also includes an extension bracket rotatably coupled with the tower mounting bracket about an extension axis. The extension bracket can be fixed to the tower mounting bracket at a selected angular position about the extension axis. The adapter also includes a handle rotatably coupled to the extension bracket about a handle axis. The handle can be fixed to the handle at a selected angular position about the handle axis. The adapter allows a driver to adapt the transmission tower to the driver's body to provide improved operation of the vehicle.

摘要： A handle assembly attachable to an object includes an auxiliary handle and a hook with a pivot arm pivotably attached thereto to define a passageway for the object. The pivot arm is pivotable between a first position, allowing access to the passageway, and a plurality of second positions, adjusting the size of the passageway to secure the object therein. A pawl, attached to the pivot arm, is movable between a first position, engageable with a ratchet of the hook, and a second position, disengaged therefrom. A shank extends the hook, and a clutch operatively couples the shank to the auxiliary handle. The clutch is actuatable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The shank is moveable relative to the auxiliary handle in translation when the clutch is in the engaged position and the shank is rotatable relative to the auxiliary handle when the clutch is in the disengaged position.

摘要： A clutch assist mechanism for reducing the amount of application force required to actuate a hand clutch of a vehicle. A clutch lever of the hand clutch is pivotable about a pivot axis and the vehicle includes a handle grip. The clutch assist mechanism includes a telescopic bar having a terminal end. The telescopic bar is movably mounted to the hand clutch generally parallel to a longitudinal hand clutch axis. The terminal end is movable between a withdrawn position and an extended position. The terminal end is located a first distance from the pivot axis in the withdrawn position and a second distance from the pivot axis in the extended position. The second distance is greater than the first distance. A mounting mechanism movably mounts the telescopic bar to the hand clutch.

In an embodiment, the adjustable valve grip comprises a first portion and a second portion wherein the second portion is operatively connected to the first portion and wherein the first portion is dimensioned such a way that the first portion is capable of being snap-fit over a gas cylinder valve handle and wherein the second portion is dimensioned in such a way as to be capable of being adjusted through its operative connection to the first portion so that when the first portion has been snap fit over a gas cylinder valve handle a user can adjust the second portion to bring the second portion into firm contact with the gas cylinder valve handle, and wherein at least one of the first portion, or the second portion, or both are colored in such a way as to be easily visible to the human eye.

摘要： A safety interlock system for left foot operated vehicle accelerator control systems is disclosed which permits a left foot operated accelerator control system to be immobilized so that it cannot be activated unintentionally or accidentally by an individual operator who is not familiar with a vehicle so equipped. The safety interlock system may be selectively activated by the vehicle operator manually directly by mechanical means or remotely by means of a switch-controlled hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical activator. An indicator system is provided which indicates the status of the safety interlock system to the vehicle operator.
